Very nice food

We've grabbed takeaway from here a couple times now over the years. We're always impressed with the quality of the food and friendly service. They've recently released a new menu which is impressive. I love their open plates. The rainbow falafel is delicious. I haven't tried anything I don't love. All the protein options are absolutely delicious and I love their pita bread too. The kids even enjoy eating here.

Delicious food and very friendly service. Any choice to go along with their creamy humus is great, whether it's their amazing falafels, tastey brisket, delicious eggplants or yummy bagels.

Loved the hummus bowls! Perfectly balanced and creamy smooth, topped with tender morsels of beef or chicken. The falafels are great too! Uri is a great host and very friendly and happy to explain each dish. Another hidden gem.

Wow! Never tried "pita" type of rolls before and was absolutely blown away but just how delicious the one I got was. I got the pulled pork pita roll and it was simply amazing. I don't give out such high praise often, but this was simply delicious. Skip the subway across the road and come down here instead! Added bonus is the amazingly friendly owner/chef and really quite good coffee! Will definitely be back!

Such fresh food, fresh made on the premises and really vibrant flavours - sooo tasty! Sits lightly in your body too, never feels heavy after I've eaten here

Scrumptious...delicious. Was lucky enough to breakdown right in front. Owner awesome. Great guy. Hummus yummy, pita pocket made right here, soft fluffy.. spicy pulled beef, dissappeared too quickly. Hope the tow truck comes soon or i will never leave. Great job, keep it up.

Uri and team here are doing some good work in the kitchen. The pita is fresh and like pillow clouds. It's what you want. The falafel is probably the best in Melbourne. Try the pumpkin falafel. Fresh, balanced spices, crunch yet soft and light inside. They even do smoked meats here! You can put mouth watering brisket in a fresh white pita 🤯. The amber sauce and assortment of chilli flavours and fusion going on there is another happy dance. Can't wait to get back to try everything available. Even the black coffee was on point 👌. I've had a lot of the better falafels in Melbourne. From 'Falafel Man' to 'Very Good Falafel' to 'Falafel Omisi' to 'Mama Falafel'. I can safely say that Pita Bakery is easily one of the best. Their falafels are the perfect "crunchy on the outside, moist on the inside" texture, with fantastic flavouring. Uri is the most gracious host as well, always experimenting with the menu, allowing customers to sample his latest creations like beetroot falafels or offering us dips to try our orders with. I'm so glad such a place exists in an area of Melbourne which lacks decent Middle Eastern food, and I can't wait to visit over and over again!
