👌 More than just a kiosk. Why not watch the sun go down with a cocktail 🍸 or wine 🍷 and a few oysters 🦪 ? After successfully getting through 2020 with great customer service and product offer, they now offer an intimate fine dining experience. Worth a taste.

My new favourite Fish n Chips place. So crispy and fresh, the special powder seems like seaweed powder which adds on umami flavour to traditionally dull fish. This is an innovative move to turn fish n chips to something really tasty 😋 unforgettable! Can’t wait to try the SP squid next time !

Fantastic take away lunch today despite lock down. Steak sandwich delicious. Paired with lovely Pinot. Sat on public bench on water’s edge. Staff wonderful - friendly, helpful with recommendations and speedy service. Definitely one to return to.

Despite lockdown, the takeaway service at Pipis is outstanding. The fish and chips belonged in a 5-star restaurant. Well done on delivering a spectacular product during difficult times. (Seriously delicious!!!!)

Pretty good coffee and the snack selection looked pretty yum (although I didn’t have any). They should put their seats out the back facing the water in winter even though it’s cold it would be nice to look at the water and not be stuck between the building and road.

Huge fish and chips, easily shared between 2 adults. Nice food as well. Good service, guess it’s hard to be miserable out of lockdown and operating a shack on the beach.

Going against the trend here. We are supporting our local businesses during lockdown and we unfortunately had a pretty bad experience at this kiosk. We wanted an ice cream and a iced chocolate. The golden gaytime was not in shape, which from my experience with deep frozen foods, means that it had melted and should not be sold. The staff did give us a second ice-cream to compensate or proposed a refund. I refused the ice cream and accepted the refund because I am not comfortable with eating something that has potentially not be stored properly. From there the guy was very rude, just taking no care into preparing the iced chocolate which tasted like nothing because he literally threw milk on chocolate sauce and ice cubes. He then handed the refund without even looking at us. Pretty poor service and behaviour. Edit: Tom, thanks for your answer. I rarely give 1 star reviews (just check my profile) and I can assure the staff did not act appropriately in the way he behaved and also not in the quality he provided when preparing the iced chocolate.

Pipi’s Kiosk is an absolute gem of a beachfront restaurant!! Just what Melbourne and this neighbourhood needs. I ordered the Pipi’s pasta and oysters and both were so delicious! Really fresh seafood, cracker wine list and just a good vibe. 10/10 for this newbie.
