Piato

I am so glad that we visited Piato on our last night in Cairns, absolutely a beautiful ending of our vacay. We had the seafood platter (for 2pp) and it was delicious, great price/value compared with other restaurants, staffs are very accommodating and the atmosphere is great. Better to make a reservation as they seem pretty busy. Will definitely come back the next time we visit Cairns!

Elie, the owner, was a spectacular host. We felt very well taken care of, like part of his family. The seafood platter was 5 star, the fried cheese was divine, the surf and turf was excellent. The seafood pasta was perfection on a plate and the portions and prices were perfect! Can't recommend this place enough. If you are a local or tourist I highly recommend dining here. I will certainly be telling all my friends about it! Finally a Cairns restaurant with amazing food and great service.

When customer service seems to be a thing of the past it's so lovely to find a restaurant in Cairns that appreciates you dining with them. The staff and owner are as caring as they are professional and the food is sensational. We even went back a second time to make sure we didn't just get a good day and unsurprisingly we enjoyed our experience even more. Highly recommend Piato to anyone. Thanks guys. We'll definitely be back.

My wife and I had the pleasure of dining here on our first night at Cairns. The food and the service was amazing it’s been two days and my wife can’t stop raving about how tender and juicy the lamb souvlaki was. We definitely will Be dining here again before we leave. Also we mentioned to the staff that my wife is pregnant the meat needed to be cooked well done, not only was it well done but it was still very tender and not chewy right dry.

Superb seafood platter and coral trout. Generous servings and beautifully presented. The creme Broulee and lemon tart desserts were magnificent. Highly recommended.

My daughter and I enjoyed a delicious lunch at Piato yesterday. Staff are super friendly and a couple of our special requests were met with enthusiasm. Good portion sizes too! Beautiful views overlooking the marina. Highly recommend to locals and visitors alike. We will be back.

Absolutely delicious lunch and outstanding service. Our children were treated so well and made to feel very special. The Moreton Bay Bugs were divine!

Excellent overall dining experience with attentive and pleasant staff serving high quality meals. We chose the banquet option and found it to be a real value winner for our hungry family much appreciated by all. Highly recommended

A nice but busy place to have a good meal. Will strongly recommend booking a table if you are visiting for dinner. We had the trio of dips and calamari fritti for appetisers. Both were really good. The pita bread that was served with the dips was soft and nicely grilled. For the main course we had Lamb Cutlets Lemonatti and the chicken skewers from the kids menu as the appetisers were pretty heavy on the stomach. Margarita was okay. Have had better. They have a good selection of drinks and cocktails on the menu though.

This was a fantastic find From the moment we arrived the service was friendly and prompt. The food exceeded our expectations it was absolutely fresh fragrant and hot. The menu choices were excellent. As a party of 6 we saw many different dishes. The stand out was the tasting selection which at $55 per head was incredible value. The quality of the food amazing and such a great selection. Definitely will be back.
