I think perrotas should introduce more than rockets as their base salad?

When did the word restauranter become restaurateur or was is always the latter?

Regular breakfast stop during our stay. Even with the roadworks the atmosphere was good with spacious dependable seating. Good healthy options as well as the usual hearty brekkie fare. Well presented and friendly staff helped make this our launching point for each day. Will be back again when we return to Cairns

We were keen to try this cafe for breakfast after reading encouraging reviews about the food. Unfortunately we didn’t even get to place our order! From the minute we walked in, we got a negative, dismissive and arrogant vibe from the staff. Despite the cafe not being busy, there was no acknowledgement or greeting, and we were left standing for some time at the counter until we were told “ to sit over there”. 10 mins later we were still without menus or service. It appeared that the wait staff were more intent on wiping down and laying tables than making an effort to serve us. I tried several times to catch one waiters attention and I was then reprimanded for getting up to get menus. When the waiter finally came over with the menus he blatantly ignored my request for a coffee and walked off to another table. After another 10 mins of no service we got up and walked out. It was interesting to see the smirk on this waiters face. Clearly they don’t want the business treating customers in this way. We ended up at the Bang and Grind next door, were greeted warmly, seated and coffee orders taken within 2 minutes of walking in!

Great breakfast/lunch spot, friendly staff, tasty fresh simple cooking, yummy deserts prepared fresh in kitchen, some nice wines and good spot to watch passing parade.

Went their for a quick pasta lunch. Husband and I ordered the same pasta. It was nice but the two dishes are seasoned differently - one has significantly more sauce than the other one and the flavour is overpowering. Mine on the other hand was much better. Their lunch service isn't busy, it's a mistake that the kitchen should have avoided.

Need to improve all round please guys. Drinks were average and most of the food lacked flavour. 3 chefs on our table agree and out of 8 people. We voted "needs improvement " It used to be great. Something has happened recently and you've slipped a little. Please

Terrible service, had to ask for menus after 5 minutes, then left after 15-20 minutes after no service. Mind you this was my 60th birthday. Staff was unfriendly and unhelpful.

The perfect coffee 👌🏻 Most places either make it too weak or seem to burn the coffee, not at Perrottas! We were in Cairns for a couple days and ended up coming here every day, as other local cafes had disappointing coffee by comparison. The staff were also incredibly friendly and attentive. Thanks for making our stay more welcoming by providing great coffee 🙏🏻

Sadly the whole experience left a lot to be desired. The olive starter was nice, but despite being in the same dish, some olives were cold and others were warm. The pizza was dry and lack lustre. The bruschetta was baffling!! Instead of being the classic (and delicious) balsamic, tomato, basil bruschetta, the Perrotta bruschetta was made from cooked brown onion and a mix of cooked red and green capsicum, it was really very unpleasant. Arancini balls were amazing! Service was good. The female waiter was very personable and very hardworking. However it was sad to see the male waiter filling water bottles and fluffing around while tables were left dirty (for approx 60 mins) and the girl was rushed off her feet.
