Patina at Customs House

Kind of old school fine dining experience. Dishes we ordered were well presented and the most of those tastes great. The steak I ordered was supposed to be medium rare but it’s almost rare. At least the jus and char were perfect. Custom house is very classy and unique among high rises. Outdoor area has one of the best view over story bridge.

Firstly, this place is situated in one of the best locations in brisbane. It overlooks the story bridge and all of the beautiful sites around it. The food is to die for. The food is prepared fresh and what we had was absolutely amazing. The taste and the quality was perfect. The staff were always helpful and knowledgeable. Also very friendly. We went on a very cold night. But the heaters were turned up and it provided a very delightful night. We couldn't fit dessert in but the menu looked amazing. Cocktails are made to perfection. Will definitely be back.

We arrived early which was not a problem. Food was amazing and more than adequate. Great mix of savoury and sweet treats. Lovely location. Great service. Can honestly say this was one of the best high teas I've experienced.

This review is about the booking process. Be aware there are other cancellation charges. I made a booking on line for six for the igloos. prepayment was needed so Visa used. When I cancelled -in sufficient time b4 the booking date- I was refunded my significant holding deposit less a booking fee! The explanation is that the engine used takes that fee. ~1.8 % by the amount. Phone direct or not at all. Food and location are lovely.

My partner and I had great experiences here for his 75 yrs birthday dinner. It’s quiet and good atmosphere here, well trained and friendly staff, amazing presentation and tasty food, I am glad that I organised this dinner at Patina restaurant. We could enjoy everything and listen to each other without loud background music and noise people. Definitely we will come back again. Price is not cheap, but you will get what you pay for.👍

I booked a table for 6 people and a 1yr old for Mother's Day online through their website, it was an easy process. We had a set menu and everyone enjoyed their individual choices, the shared entrees was pretty much the highlight of our meal even though we enjoyed our mains & dessert as well. Ambience was delightful, we sat outside with the view of the Brisbane river and the Storey bridge, the restaurant wasn't crowded this made moving around easier, service was great from start to finish. Overall we wouldn't mind going back here soon.

Perfect service, excellent desert (really superb - we had the donut with dates filling, fig and rhubarb ice cream) , beautiful view and atmosphere and prohibitive prices! We ate very well, the wine was good, the truffle and caramelized butters were delicious, the seafood was very fresh and the lamb was excellent. The latter could have had a few potatoes here and there as part of the stew, particularly for $85. The seafood was very fresh and sauces were very good but not overwhelmingly good. Thus, a bit more of the tuna with bread and butters included in the $55 would have been appropriate. Other than that, it will need another extraordinary event to go back!

Lovely experience, beautiful venue and polite well experienced staff, the food was 8/10 and the wine list was very good. All in all I think its well worth a visit.

An excellent night out for myself and my wife. This is a high end, up market restaurant with a very intimate atmosphere. You will be hard pressed to find a better view of the Brisbane river than here at Patina. Formal attire and a touch of elegance goes hand in hand with the heritage listed Customs House building that Patina calls home.
