Entrees and side dishes were really nice along with the pork main dish. The scotch fillet was "nice" but not great. Nicely chargrilled but a bit tasteless. I have had better steaks for $50. The Palermo sour cocktail was very good. Quite a pricey meal though. A really nice evening and meal however and will return.

Great customer service, fun and warm environment and vibe. The set menu is well paced, great food and we'll portioned. The wine recommendations are also great.

My first visit to Palermo was fantastic! We went for a birthday celebration. The wait staff were excellent - great knowledge of the menu and wine selection, as well as super friendly. The food was truly delicious Argentinian. The restaurant is bigger than it looks from the street, but very cosy and intimate at the same time. An excellent choice for a special night out!

Amazing atmosphere, amazing food. The meats are cooked to perfection. Knowledgeable staff who can guide your meal and wine choices. Not cheap, but very much worth it. Booking recommended.

I liked this better than San telmo (their sister restaurant) beautifully cooked steak and great service!

If you like high quality meals and well informed service to go with it, I could not recommend Palermo quick enough. I have never had an issue paying for a meal that’s worth the money, and I can honestly say the food here and service is well worth it. I’ve ordered the Rib-eye, and Porterhouse and I have not had a meal I could even start to compare with. I’m not a porterhouse guy, I’ve always found it lean and flavourless, but I’d be lying if I said Palermo didn’t change my mind on that. You definitely have to try their Arancini if you stop on by, you will not be disappointed. Thank you Palermo! Will definitely be visiting again soon!

Description

Continuing on the legacy of two of the CBD's most revered restaurants, vibrant younger sister Palermo borrows from San Telmo's boisterous old-world charm, fusing it with a nonchalant new-world chic and penchant for the flamboyant. Award-winning head chef Ollie Gould captures the artistry and exuberance of Palermo's cobbled urban buzz, toiling over its spectacle centerpiece – a tailor-made traditional Asado fire pit ablaze with whole splayed beasts. With its mouth-watering modern menu crafted for the carnivorous, Palermo fuses a contemporary twist with the age-old Argentinean tradition of sharing the finest Parrilla charcoal-grilled cuisine with friends, family and lovers.
