Shop 7 0, Darwin
Smallest portion sizes known to man, Chicken fastest very funny, spit it out and noticed the colour.. 0/10 As per shops response. Picture is of two butter naans $10 Curry is the large $26 Obviously it's cut into quarters
To long wait for food, the food was ok but I won't come back. And don't recommend the restaurant either. Food was warm and not hot. For the price I expect more. Service did the most necessary, nothing more. Restaurant was manageable but just like the chairs not very comfortable and inviting to staying.
We had chicken tikka, naan and briyani. I enjoyed chicken tikka but not briyani too spicy they changed immediately so nice, good customer service portion was bigger comparison to last visit.mango and blueberry smoothly was awesome loved it .
Tried their chicken tikka masala, prawn curry, chicken kadai and malai kofta with Nan and tandoor roti. We availed the curry night offer. None of the food tasted good specially there was no salt in the curries as well as in the rotis. We gave a benefit of doubt that it could be because of the rush. But the worst part we noticed few hours later, me and my husband both felt so much blotting and the next day our stomach got upset. Not going to try their food again.
First time for me to order here. We had takeaway. We werenβt too adventurous and ordered a couple of butter chickens for a lazy Sunday night watching the cricket. Also 2 garlic Naan. Flavour was awesome from the first bite. Good size pieces of well cooked chicken. I did order one to be spicy πΆ hot. It definitely had more spice heat than the standard Butter chicken but in reality was only 3-4 on the heat scale for me. Never less had an excellent flavour. Highly recommended.
Decent place, service, portions, and price in line with most Darwin restaurants. I had the Beef Malabar, which was nice, but the beef was a bit dry. It was nice that we had a 2x3 curry on a Friday. This is only my opinion - I found other restaurants more appealing : food quality and ambiance I.e Hanuman
No stars The food almost everything except naan was completely different (less tasty) than before even the chicken drumsticks π in nonveg palates was stale, i had stomachache after eating. I am very disappointed with this dine-in dinner in our farewell which will gonna last dinner in poi
Lots of choices, not many listed as spicy although anyone who does not eat spicy food would find any of the dishes to have some kick to it. No alcohol available which did not bother us, the Mango lassi was enjoyed! Would definitely recommend this place for true Indian food lovers!
Warm atmosphere, semi authentic decor with western charm. attentive friendly staff, Great for date. A little out of the touristy drive. A little pricy (lamb rogan josh $28) Roti was a little too oily, chicken vindaloo slightly sweet and not too spicy. Palak Paneer a little oily and not too salty. Beef Malabar undertone of coconut flavour and slightly sweet. Three mains for the price of two. Tuesday & Wednesday = buy 1get 1 free for orders above 35$ (call to check). Free Wi-Fi lots of parking.
Pocket pickers! On their so called curry night with offer buy one get one free, we ordered 2 goat curries and found out that this offer is not applicable on goat curry while paying the bill at the end. However, nowhere it was mentioned on their advertisement of curry night that it is not applicable on Goat curry. Real THUGS! And worst curry also having too much oil.
