Great atmosphere

It was a great deal, we got meals and stubby for $10.00 out of one of those vouchers u get when buying tours... I ordered two meals being both exactly the same, rump steak medium rare, chips and salad and mushrooms sauce on the side. The kitchen quite fast same as the guys at the bar however none of the steaks was medium rare, I would say not even medium, but well, for 10 bucks 🤷🤷🤷

I didn’t even want to get into this pub last night as your security at the front door was so arrogant scaring people away. No wonder why the place looked quiet empty. People need to learn some manners and customer service skills or alternatively change career.

P.J O'Brien's in Cairns is awesome, Excellent food and atmosphere. If you go to Cairns definitely walk in grab a beer and look at all the antiques and memorabilia. We had bbq pork ribs, probably the best we've ever had and we've had ribs at a lot of restaurants over the last 25 years. Staff were young friendly and energetic. We'll be back there for sure.

Not a bad pub, but the steak was smallish and a bit tough. Probably more suited to drinking than dining.

I got a few times a week for the food as it has good backpackers deals nice pub food simple but tasty and good drink selection with friendly staff

Family friendly, staff very friendly and approachable. I had the spicy chicken wings and calamari, as well as the loaded garlic bread, enjoyed it all.

We always make a point of frequenting this Irish pub when in Cairns. Spicy chicken wings and a pint of Guiness - does it get any better than this ???? Seriously, a great watering hole with friendly and helpful staff, an excellent and well priced menu an an ambience that you only find in an Irish pub. Whether sitting inside or outside watching the world go by, just a great venue.

Great place for a nice cold beer. Back again on Thursday great atmosphere, beer good again. Only downside was the bar man 😳 wowsers personality plus (not) matey your in the wrong job. We are paying customers not s..t under your shoes
