Oppy's Pasta

Been going here for years with my wife. Recently came for dinner with our 1 year old son as well, since we were close by. To say they were unaccommodating would be an understatement. We ordered two adult pasta dishes, garlic bread and three drinks. Roughly $65 worth... We then politely asked if we could get just the meatballs without the pasta for our son. "We can't serve it without the sauce" was the answer my wife got at first. We said that's fine, we just don't want the pasta as he will only eat the meatballs on their own. "You'll still have to pay $24 for the dish" was their response. This is a restaurant that literally makes every pasta dish from scratch, it would have taken zero extra effort to serve the meatballs on their own and discount it slightly. I would have happily still paid $20 without the pasta... And I almost just paid the full price since my son was hungry. But their attitude simply made it seem as though we weren't welcome there. So we put the drinks back in the fridge and went elsewhere. Never to return again. The food is great at Oppy's, never had a bad meal there. But their attitude sucks.

A tiny but clearly very popular, fresh made pasta cafe in lovely Albury. It’s clear why this place is so busy! The pasta is delicious! The sauce options cover all needs and the staff are just lovely. The meals are really well priced and generously sized. We had a bowl each plus garlic bread and couldn’t finish everything!

I would dare to say this is the best pasta in the area. Pasta made fresh everyday and if you like seafood they do fresh, real, generous portions of marinara pasta. Perfect

Got takeaway from here last night for dinner. Short walk from the hotel I was staying at. Ordered parpadelle with creamy mushroom sauce and garlic bread. The pasta was absolutely delicious. Still piping hot when I got back to my room and a very generous serve. The bread was average. In fact I couldn’t eat it given the portion of pasta. Really was top notch and I definitely recommend! Thanks Oppy’s 😋

Is fabulous and so tasty. I have never had a bad experience and it's all fresh made and delicious. They remember our order no matter how long in-between visits.

We came in after 6 hours driving and we needed something warm, delicious and home made. We were not disappointed - the bolognese was amazing and the carbonara was spectacular. The garlic bread was the perfect partner! We haven’t had pasta that delicious and fresh since we were in Italy a few years ago!

Always worth the drive, love that the food is cooked fresh before our eyes, always delisouse sp very very tastie and great service always with a smile! If you like pasta this is your place!
