68 Wollongong St 2609, Fyshwick
Exceptional coffee
Great service and delicious food. A little loud at times from the kitchen but well worth it for the food. Eggs Benedict was a unique take on the dish with fried chicken in place of the usual suspects, worked really well. Coffee was rich and well served.
Came with a group of 6 for breakie. Service was amazing and super quick. The eggs Benedict looked amazing
Best coffee in Canberra! Their meals are also really good. We had ONA bacon and egg (Turkish) roll with smokey BBQ and cheddar, plus a Korean chicken eggs Benedict and both were bloody brilliant. It's the second time we've eaten here and both times have been great.
Called in for a quick breakfast and coffee. Food was reasonable, but for a coffee house, the coffee was pretty ordinary and no better that I could make at home. I expect to have a nice hot coffee on a cold morning but it was barely warm. First time I've had a skinny iced cappuccino. Certainly won't return in cold weather.
ONA Coffee House is a good place to get your coffee and breakfast (or brunch) while you're at Fyshwick. Serving their very own ONA coffee, trust that it will be served well. Good thing to mention is how good their French Toast isβthe best French Toast we've had so far! The toast itself doesn't seem it was cooked the traditional way (i.e. toast soaked in egg and milk, etc.), but it seems like the process went from baking the raw materials and turning it into such a masterpiece. We love the a balance of the sweetness of the toast, the strawberry ice cream and Oreo crumbs around it, plus the seasonal fruits that came with it. Simply awesome! We've also tried their Eggs Benedict which is also good (as we are big Eggs Benedict chasers for brunches). One thing to note about the restaurant is that it gets really busy and that there's a chance that the food will be served around 40 minutes (noticeable as well that there is a queue outside the establishment). We appreciate the lady who came over to our table (assume it is the manager of the restaurant) when she apologise for what happened and made amendments to our order. Overall, it's something good to try out if you're up for some brekky in Fyshwick.
Very surprised to be asked to pay $5 for a piccolo latte. Plenty of good coffee shops making great piccolos for $3.50 or perhaps $4.00. I will be drinking my coffee elsewhere from now on.
First time I went, last year, I had food poisoning afterwards. I went there last weekend for a take-away coffee but they wouldn't accept my cash to pay, implying I'm carrying some disease (which I wasnt) when its legal tender. They get 2 stars as at least the girl who greeted me at the door was lovely.
Great Ambience and Great coffee. Top notch service, waitstaff really know their coffee.
