Old Mates Pizza & Pasta

Really happy with the food that we got Came in and were served but a nice bloke who recommended the Florentine and a Mediterranean pizza. Had some apprehension but this was blown away by the pizza which was definitely one of the better knew I've had recently The crust was perfect and the toppings mad tasty :D Pasta was a bit too creamy for my tastes but the gnocchi was 👌

Giving 1 star (that's me being nice) as the food arrived hot and fresh, needless to say, the actual quantity of the meal was NOT worth the price paid and Menulog also agreed to this. When I called the business and asked about why the there was only such a small amount of chips, the guy over the phone simply said "that's what you're given, you're paying too much attention to the quantity not enough to the chicken" excuse me? It's called a Parma AND CHIPS???? If I had known I was going to pay for something that looks like a kids meal, I would've went somewhere else. Extremely poor form.

Had ordered a family size half pepperoni and half lamb. Amazing taste! Fresh and hot. Great portions of toppings. The people were kind enough to make all our options halal too! I do wonder if we can get a thick crust instead of a thin crust though. 5 stars.

Had a great experience. Plenty of halal options. Manger was very kind and explained ingridients in detail for my peace of mind.

Staff not wearing masks and customer service pretty average. I ordered a chicken pizza that had capsicum on it and the chicken was completely tasteless and far too much capsicum on it. Cheese and garlic pizza was also very average and not very garlicky. A few menu items they also said they don’t make anymore and have not updated the menu.

Wow, what a shame. This was my favourite pizza place until tonight. I ordered a satay prawn pizza and it came with muscles and scallops (which I’m allergic to and the menu didn’t state had on) When I called and spoke with the person on shift, the staff member said the owner was “too lazy to change it” and said many others complain. What a silly way to do business. Highly doubt I’ll order again from a place so unwilling to provide accurate dietary information due to sheer laziness.

I used menulog, so I ordered 1x house special and 1x pollo e fungi pasta, both of them tasteless, only 2 bites of chicken and the house special one had a funny taste as if it was almost spoiled. They both ended up in the bin. What an unpleasant experience. 😕

We ordered Carbonara Pasta which had alot of sauce. Presentation and Value was reasonable. We also got a Bolognese, which had the strangest flavor, and had way too much salt. The dishes were overly hot, which concerned us. We paid $14 each - the pasta was overcooked. Not worth the price for pasta but according to reviews we should have gotten pizza!

The bolognese was disgustingly sweet, like sweeter than a bowl of fruit loops. Tasted nothing like traditional bolognese, couldn’t even tell if there was meat in there. Just sugar. Couldn’t eat it, ended up in the bin. Also the gnocchi is clearly store bought and not cooked well. The chips were just okay, soggy but that’s probably because I had it delivered and it was pretty late. Gravy was also just okay, nothing special but was definitely better than a lot of gravies I’ve had in Victoria.
