Excellent Pale Ale, flavour was perfect!

A fantastic meal. Fantastic service from awesome people Some very nice brews. Do yourself a favour and visit Ogre Brewing & Tap House.

Very welcoming staff and atmosphere. I enjoyed the Ogre Ale tasting paddle (the spicy smokey almonds that came with it were amazing). Also had the burger and house cut chips, both were delicious. I Will return!

We came here a few years ago and the dining experience is still memorable. The food was delicious and the ambience was simply marvelous! Would love to visit again sometime.

Very friendly staff and warm venue with good service. Could do with some more grazing/snack food options (cheese share platter) and a more clearly laid out menu. Love the craft beer.

Absolutely 10/10. We dined here on a Tuesday night where we firstly sat out the front for some alfresco beers before heading inside for some dinner. Upon recommendation by the most attentive wait staff, we ordered 4 small dishes between us. She recommended croquettes, dumplings, greens, and wings. None of the dishes were ordinary - all extraordinary. The takeaway beers were the cream on top. Would have no hesitation recommending this lovely, character rich place to anyone. The indigenous art was a special touch. Cheers

Food was good, beer was good, service was great, atmosphere was good and there were some games for the kids. A nice sitting area under some grape vines. Limited range of beers compared to other breweries - 4 of theirs and 4 from other local breweries to make up 8 beers on tap total but they were good. A nice place to stop after a couple of wineries for some dinner and a paddle of beers. Standard pricing. Worth the stop!

What a wonderful surprise!!! My husband and I had a dinner reservation last night and we were blown away with the wonderful food we ordered from the menu. We chose to start with a few Latvian share dishes before the main course. Pirag (ham pie with bacon and onions) amazing, flavorsome and the dough/pastry was light and airy. Chicken Liver Donuts with Truffle Honey, again light and fluffy, it melted in your mouth and was truly devine. House made pickles consisted of beetroot, red onion, cauliflower, green beans and finely shaved fennel - what a treat! Absolutely delicious. For main, hubby thoroughly enjoyed the Korean Fried Chicken Burger with slaw & pickles while I was in heaven with the King Fish. We will return for a Sunday afternoon to enjoy tapas and drinks and even re order the Latvian dishes with others. Highly recommend.

Unfortunately we will not be returning to Ogre due to the gentlemen who served us, after ordering drinks he said "17", 17 what I thought? I assumed he meant dollars and not a please or a thank you. What an immensely ill manner chap!! Sadly the same can be said of Mully Grub which is owned by the same people, it seems a "good morning" is too much for them and previously I've been many times and recommended it to friends, not anymore. Unfortunately they seem to have put up the prices in order to pay for the Ogre renovations????

Amazing food and great service! It looks quite unassuming from outside so just went in for a drink and ended up staying for dinner and so glad we did! The food is really inventive and delicious. The eggplant and tofu dish may seem out of place in a tap house but I recommend you try it - you will be amazed! Service is fantastic and overall one of the best venues in McLaren Vale.
