Oakdene Vineyards Cellar Door

Fun and quirky winery with heaps of character! I love they way so much "trash" was turned to treasure with the sculptures and decoration throughout the winery. Delicious wine tasting at the cellar door and great service!

Loved doing tastings here! My partner and I each got to pick 6 wines to taste for $10! A big variety with information about each and the glasses are coded so you know what you’re drinking. Really friendly staff and the best sparkling I’ve ever had! We will be back.

Highly recommend the wine tasting, it was fantastic. Brett spent time explaining the different wines and gave us loads of info. Would definitely visit again.

Lovely experience with a quirky and unique decor. For someone visiting vineyards in the Geelong region this is a beautiful place to stop by.

I saw this winery from the road and caught my attention. We drove back and got in. After 5min admiring the place I fell in love with it. It is in a rustic decoration with such creative manner that makes it almost magical. It looks beautiful during the day and night. They have so much to view and explore. There are one cafe and one restaurant here. We visit the cafe for dinner on valentine's day, the food was perfect, it wasn't that romantic inside the cafe but once outdoor it was charming. They hold weddings and events. I know I will visit this place frequently even though I have to drive 80 km to get there.

Arrogant and rude. Would have happily bought a dozen bottles and wine glasses but for the poor service. Restaurant experience was the opposite which makes it all the more disappointing.

Sunday lunch at Mr Grubb was plentiful, varied and very tasty. The wait staff were attentive delivering excellent service throughout lunch. Accommodation at the estate was a pleasant surprise. Our room was the water room (one of three rooms). It was immaculate, roomy with lovely decor. There was complimentary Nespresso coffee, bottled water and juices, and streaming channels. The entire estate is well kept. It was a pleasure spending time there. Will definitely visit again.

We had a lovely wine tasting with our international friends .. noticed Oakdene had their own brand of olive oil. We’d love to have tasted some but unfortunately that wasn’t available. It would be such a great idea to be able to select a few to try with some bread whilst we sat sipping our purchased wine .

I’m sorry to give one star, but it was an abysmal tasting experience. We paid $10 for five sips of 5 sub-par wines, with a laminated piece of plastic as a tasting guide. Disappointing (especially having coming here for years!)… Covid is not an excuse, as the next winery we went to just down the road went above and beyond. And the wine prices are cheaper if you buy from Dan Murphys (which we didn’t!)
