Very nice
We ate here year's ago and had a great time. This time we took our kids for a Greek banquet and we're disappointed. The service was good at the start. We had a friendly waitress, but after the first few courses it took a long time to get our next dish. The entree of dips and antipasto had a strong vinegar flavour. The meat was tender, but salty. The seafood was greasy and served cold. For dessert, we were served grapes that we're brown and going mouldy. It is a shame that this place has changed so much since our last visit.
Great food. Fun atmosphere and friendly staff. We had a fun night 😀
If you want an amazing Greek feed then this is the place. Generous servings of juicy and tender lamb , excellent fresh seafood platter, homemade dips were unforgettable. Finally the different deserts finished off an excellent dining experience.... unbeatable in the Greek restaurant experience... certain to return.
Good food as usual. The drinks took so long to come out we were ordering 2 at a time so we didn't have to wait.
Enjoyed the traditional Greek banquet. A fantastic spread of food from starters to entrees, mains and desert and hot drinks. Enjoyed it all. Char grilled flavours and we'll portioned dishes. Generous fresh salad. Felt like the seafood and couple of chips was on the smaller size, could have done with a few more chips and seafood. But at plate number 4 our stomachs were reaching capacity. So it was fine. Went there a few years ago, and servings have dropped a smidge but still a fantastic tasting meal and great value. A feast fit those looking for a nice meal out.
Staff are nice , food is just ok. The size of the food is off by a mile, 50p/h $100 for 2 people and they give you literally 2 calamari rings 1 each ? Come on do better than that. Small amounts of meat to share too 1 tiny bit of sausage each , 1 bit of everything each expect the chicken and lamb but even that is small. Wouldn't be rushing to go back any time soon.
Bought a 2 person Groupon. Staff were absolutely lovely and the food wasn't bad but not amazing. I would have just been happy if for the money I paid the servings were a bit better. Maybe double what I got for what I paid would make it worth it. I was really looking forward to the seafood part of my meal with my partner. Out came two calamari rings, two bus ticket size bits of fish and two prawns. Pretty disappointing.
We booked a dinner and show. The food (banquet) was amazing as it was so yummy however i think they needed to add a small dessert, not much but something little and sweet to top it off. The show was excellent with 3 lovely ladies singing hits from the 50s. We had a great time.
On a Thursday night, we were hoping to have a quiet, intimate meal as a couple. It was more like a public school yard playground! The owners kids and their friends were running amok, screaming and carrying on like delinquents, with the parents completely ignoring them and customers glaring daggers ! Talking to the wait staff indicated they were just as over it, but obviously couldn't do or say anything, other than other patrons had complained before and had simply been ignored! Seriously, the food was nice, the long suffering staff terrific, but I paid for a pleasant night out; not the running screaming chaos, of little children who should have been in bed two hours before we even got there, along with the absolute contempt the just as ignorant parents have toward customers, who are paying for an experience they won't soon forget! News! There is another Greek restaurant another couple of kilometres along in Main street Croydon that concentrates on good food, and their customers comfort and dinning experience! Guess where I'll be sending my friends and family?
