My first Russian food experience and totally recommend and appreciate it! Starting from the vodka tasting and beers, the honey and pepper homemade vodka was incredible, also the fig one. Must try. We had the banquet and try a bit of everything and I have to say that we’ve chosen very well. In addiction, the place is well decorated with a fire place in the middle. Love it!

First time eating a distinctly Russian meal. Well worth it. Food was great and left me wanting more. Staff were the right side of attentive. Always close at hand when needed but never bothered us. Looking forward to our second visit.

Exceptional service. Excellent quality authentic Russian cuisine. Very nostalgic if you’ve lived in or visited Russia. Highly recommend and definitely worth a visit if you’ve never been before.

Nevsky is another restaurant (eat at home) ticked off the bucket list! Their menu sounded appealing and so a selection was made that was most enjoyable. Will definitely try more dishes another time when I fancy Russian cuisine!

I had high expectations for this place and it knocked my socks off! The service is so warm and friendly, everyone is treated like a long lost friend. You need to book as this place does get busy on Fridays and Saturdays, and given the food, drinks and service I can see why. I loved my premium trio of vodkas (cinnamon, Qld mango and plum), and the Romanian Fetească Regală was very palatable. I also enjoyed my baltika zero - note the drinks are extremely well priced. The borsch was as expected, and the vodka cured salmon was probably the most popular entree that night, it is very clean and the toast had good texture. I loved the mushroom crepes the best. For mains, the Golubtsi (minced beef & pilaf rice wrapped in cabbage leaves, served with tomato & sour cream sauce) sounds really average, but when you dig in, it is simply divine, all the flavours mesh well together. The Pozharskie Kotlety (minced chicken breast patties, crumbed and pan-fried in butter, served with euro frites and garden salad) is not what you expect. The chicken is actually minced breast with onion and garlic and it is the juiciest and tastiest breast I have ever had!
