Hermitage Rd At Keith Tulloch Wines 2320, Pokolbin
Awsome food
Very nice venue, decent food for fine dining. Note that you have to order a minimum from the course menu. Service was pretty good. It's located next to a winery and a nice green lawn for kids to play on. Be sure to check out the chocolate shop next door. Dog friendly too.
A great family friendly restaurant with delicious flavour packed food! Staff are very attentive and did look after us for the entire dining experience. I would recommend the Union Station Sirloin! Cooked perfectly and mouth watering! The three course dining experience is about 2 hours. This may be a bit long for some younger children.
It was such a enjoyable refreshment after our 3.5 long drive. I would recommend against order anything to share apart from the 3 course because we had to skip dinner after our late lunch here, but the crab crumpets just taste amazing and it’s definitely one of our favorite dishes during our two day trip in Hunter Valley. The main courses are full of surprises - port cutlet was served with pumpkin and peach which looked harmless but actually spicy and flavorful. We have already recommended this place to our friends 😄
I have mixed feelings about this restaurant. We accidentally wounded up here thinking this was the muse restaurant. It was a nice surprise. The location is beautiful and if you have little kids this is a great place since there’s a lovely garden for them to just hang out whilst you enjoy your meal. The service was professional and welcoming. We did have to wait for 20 minutes to be seated despite having a booking. But it was a nice surrounding and we didn’t mind hanging outside. The seating could be more comfortable given the price of the menu and the elegance they are trying to bring to the table. The garden chairs outside are quite uncomfortable to sit over a 3 course meal. As for the food a few things were exceptionally delicious but the rest were just above average. We did think the presentation on the lamb and the fish Kiev could do better. Although I’ve give 4* I think they can up their game a bit more to deserve that. But definitely above 3* based in our experience.
We'll be back for the new menu. Chef and wait staff are amazing with the food and service. Pricing is great in terms of level of service and excellent food. We were lucky to get a table at last minute on a Saturday night. Restaurant is still quite busy after 8:30pm. That's a good sign for a good restaurant. Can't wait to try the new menu.
It was an enjoyable lunch back in July when the restriction was first eased. The restaurant is a very pretty boutique cottage in the light grey and white tone. Gave a high tea and relax atmosphere. Similar to all other Hunter Valley boutique restaurants offering 2 or 3 courses tasting menu. The plating are very pretty well match to their cottage feel. Although not a surprising menu but all dishes are tasty, fresh and well cooked.
Outstanding food & service! You might need to order side dishes with your mains 😉 awesome desserts!
5 stars without any hesitation! The food here is beyond delicious. Every dish from entree to dessert was perfection on a plate. Will be back!!!
Wow the lunch menu here was absolutely divine! The hay smoked chicken was delicious as well as the Bermagui octopus entree. The staff were very accommodating with our young children
