My partner and I had an amazing time at our tasting. James and Peter were very entertaining, informative and hospitable. The wines were also top quality. Highly recommend checking them out!

Not the worst winery we've visited so far, but very close to it. In a nutshell, overpriced and pretentious. Wine is average, food is edible, staff is not too bad, but that's not the experience you would expect from ’the oldest vineyard in Hunters'. Scenery is nice and bellbirds singing, some roses here band there. Passable.

We just finished an incredible tasting here at Mount Pleasant Wines, maybe the best wine tasting we’ve ever had. We were guided by Pete who is unbelievably passionate about wine and also a big Mount Pleasant fanboy for most of his life. We tried semillon and a few Shiraz options too, our favourite was the Rosehill Shiraz. I can’t recommend this winery highly enough! Their history is amazing and their wines are delicious.

Just completed a wine tasting at Mount Pleasant with friends. Peter attended to our tasting and is clearly both passionate and knowledgeable about wines. Peter went out of his way to make our tasting enjoyable and gave extra of his time to make our experience extraordinary. Thanks Peter!!

Nice day out. We had a picnic in their upper vineyard then went into the cellar for tastings. Ended up buying some wine. Staff were very informative during our tasting and friendly. Would definitely go back!

Hallowed ground in the Hunter Valley. The home of Maurice O'Shea, the father of modern Australian wine making. It's a bit further out from most of the vine yards (25$ from Pokolbin village) but it's well worth the journey. The wine is very very special and the location, it's easy to understand why it's called Mount Pleasant.

The premium range of wines are outstanding and the service from Pete couldn't be better
