Wonderful steak!!!!

Nice restaurant. Very good ambiance. Staff knows what they are selling. Perfect stake, you get what you order not under or over cooked. Price are high but it worth it. Sauce okay, the meat are really good you don’t need sauce at all. Side are alright. Recommend for family or fancy dinner 😄👍

Starters- oysters & calamari. The tempura and spiced oysters didn’t appeal too much, natural ones were much better. Very fresh. Main- signature 1kg roast for three. Expected one of the best steaks of my life, and ordered medium rare. Maybe I got unlucky with the slices but it seemed relatively average, well seasoned but not really marbled and a couple of minutes away from turning into shoe leather (ie medium well or possibly even well done.) It was made relatively better by the recommended wine pairing (an Argentine Shiraz) and sides. Dessert- chocolate lava cake with ice cream, well executed though not exactly going to set the world on fire. They catered to kids which was a plus-pastas and burgers Overall would return but not in a massive hurry.

I now know why this place is rated one of Brisbane's best steak restaurants. We had the signature share 1kg steak and it didn't disappoint. I wish I didn't have to share it with two others. The sides were also great. Plenty of gluten free options. I even found a gluten free dessert. Like most restaurants on the city, make sure you book in advance. The atmosphere was relaxing and the waiter was very friendly and charming.

Went here on New Years Eve 2020-2021. Booked in last minute for a group of family and friends, we were given a lovely booth table, service was amazing our waiter was super attentive and even put my fiancé's food under the heat lamp because was running late. They let us stay at our table until midnight and we never felt pressured to leave even when ordered a whole bottle of champagne at 11:45pm. Staff had food recommendations and were super knowledgeable about drinks menu. Highly recommend.

I thought the front of house was excellent, the gentleman who served us Monday lunch was excellent. Bar staff were also friendly and attentive. I paid a lot of money for food but wasn't all that impressed entree duck was dry, steak, while the quality was amazing the matching jus and soy sauce were underwhelming. Overall we did enjoy the experience.

Amazing steak. Service was friendly and professional - we did forget to order entree and then had difficulty hunting down a waiter to order. We also ordered amount of sides recommended by waiter which was way too much and at least half untouched. Overall a really great evening and will be back.

Amazing service. I wish we remembered her name but we had a booking for 6:30pm on Monday the 31st of May. The young blonde waitress gave my wife and I service that felt very personal and genuine. This is our new favourite spot when we come to the city as both times the service can’t be faulted and we are always recommended exactly what we feel like without even knowing ourselves.
