Food was delicious, each dish a masterpiece. Portions aren't massive but that's a good thing, you can try more and enjoy different flavours! Has a bit of a homey vibe and chaos, like the style of sake bars with delicious home style meals made with pride.

We chose Monkey's Corner recently for dinner. It's small gem hidden away along Kensington next to its more expansive and popular counterpart Koi dessert bar. The serving sizes are small, but the food was excellent. Spicy trout belly and wagyu rice bowls, ox tongue cooked in beef fat, king prawns with konbu butter and delicious creamy noodles. The drinks list is extensive, featuring in house cocktails, foreign beers but also classic spirits. Would definitely come again for truffle season which we missed out on.

Delicious food but small portions which make price a little hard to justify. Our wine order was forgotten and only came after reminding twice. Would be back but hope service improves :)

Great hidden little gem, a small but modern casual setting. Menu which changes once in a while to keep it fresh. Ordered cocktail from a wide variety, easy delicious and sharp and really hit the spot. Food was at totally next level, delicious, fresh and full of flavour although serving sizes on the smaller side which left us wanting for more! To finish off tried a dessert which I can only compare to a bubble milk tea on a plate - in short delicious! Will be back again to try more of the menu!

As mentioned by many others the portions are on the smaller side. We absolutely loved the uni bowl and ox tongue!

Overall an underwhelming experience. Mains came before the starter and they also missed out our kingfish collar order. Flavour was good for the uni noodles, and it was yum. We also ordered the ox tongue n spicy trout belly on rice which was meh!!! Portions were small and we left wanting for more. We ended up in spice alley for supper. Ox tongue slices were so thin and whilst we liked the trout flavour, it being a patty on cold rice was a bit sad!!!

Unfortunately when I went, they had no more noodles left. However, the wagyu rice bowl was delicious, and the soft boiled eggs were amazing. Quite pricy for the portions you get, but delicious nonetheless. The ox tongue is a must get!

Great flavour experience. Ox tongue was my favourite. Bobba dessert is great for all those bubble tea fans

Service was efficient and friendly. We started with cocktails which were the usual price for Sydney and went down great. The serving sizes look small for the price tag but the food is rich and delicious and we left very full. Looking forward to making this my new local.
