Fantastic food and friendly staff

True Fitzroy gem! Came here for lunch and really loved the decor & theme. Most importantly though, the food was really really good. We ordered the clam chowder which was perfect for a cold wet Melbourne day - the mussels & clams were delicious. We also ordered the spicy fried prawns which were packed with flavour. But the real highlights for me were the crab slider (crab meat was beautiful), the prawn roll and flavour packed crab tostada which in hindsight, I would’ve order multiple of as it was that good! Will definitely be back here again.

Quality of food was great, portion size was a little small. Staff were friendly and polite. Was sitting inside at the back where there was a cold draught coming through. Inside venue is very photogenic, plenty of interesting things to take photos of.

3.5 stars. Mixed reviews and my experience confirmed was simply above average and nothing special. (I visited in 2017 and saw some of my old photos so doing the review only now!) Food quality: Seafood didn’t taste the freshest, above average for sure but not more than that. Food portion / Price: Portions are in line with average and prices are as expected in the city!

Seafood tastes fresh, good service, good fried chicken. The butter sauce on the seafood is good. Drinks compliment the food well, nice courtyard in the back. There's a really nice feel to the place. The tables could be a bit bigger though.

We had been really looking forward to going here and when we got there we were not impressed at all. This restaurant has the setup that you use the QR code to access their difficult to navigate menu (we are young and tech savvy), that you must order and pay from - then you're asked if you want to leave a tip. We had not been served or eaten yet - but asked to leave a tip. For what...we have served ourselves The waiter had no idea about if there was a Heater outside or not, and when they come to ask how our meal is, you can not order more food or drinks from them. They send you back to the app. So no use coming to us I understand some things are set up to reduce contact for Covid. But your coming to us anyway...why not serve us. You dine out for an experience Of it was not great The food was not amazing and the serve yourself set up is not what you dine out for. Very disappointed We won't return

Very good portion sizes, awesome theme and food. Would go back. Amazing music!!!

Quick service, very tasty crab and seafood, worthwhile cocktails

Chanced upon this place on a busy Friday night. Sat outside & had the yummiest food. Service very friendly & prompt. Online menu, ordering & payment very easy & streamlined.
