Mindil Beach Gilruth Ave, Darwin City
Fantastic as usual. Great food and Service from the kitchen, Manager and Staff
Great place awesome service beautiful place to watch sun rise and set Great lagoon pool
We flew up from Sydney to spend some time in the top end! Wow! We were own away by the vibe and the hospitality of this place. Thanks to Brad, Poya, Lolita and all the team at Mindil Beach. You guys are simply the best. We wish we could stay here
Beautiful lagoon pool access rooms, absolutely the place to be during locked down though unable to use the pool was depressing, but definitely the scenary that you would want to wake up to in compare to a normal hotel 4 walls room, quite expensive room, room service was very efficiently fast , warm and surprisingly delicious. Staff was very warm and friendly except for the night reception gentleman not so accommodating nor friendly
Amazing staycation destination. Can’t wait to go again
LOVED LOVED LOVED!!! Bali / Thailand resort feels. We stayed at the hotel room which was more affordable but still had access to all facilities including the resort pool which had a pool bar. Beautiful water temperature and amazing sunset view from the hotel pool. It’s open to public during the weekend, so more exclusive and nicer during the week.
When Darwin went into lockdown, this hotel swung into action. Although I must confess I thought closing the pools was a bit excessive, but on reflection it was the right thing to do. Speaking of the right thing to do, giving a meaningful $100 daily room service voucher was an excellent piece of customer relations. Well done manager. Before it was closed, the lagoon pool was better than any we’ve found in Australia. The staff are fantastic, the food is ok though a bit limited and the accommodation dated, but there’s nothing wrong with dated.
Not up to resort standards! 1. Upon arrival checking in there was no one to escort us to our room and there was no explanation on where facilities such as pool, casino OR our room was. For a resort such as yours I would expect an escort with baggage handlers. 2. HALF of your restaurants and day spa were closed and there was no warning upon arrival. We had to go into the city for another day spa and for restaurant diversity. We stayed at your resort for a reason and this variety was not met, nor was any vouchers given for the inconvenience of the renovations. Very disappointing indeed. 3. Included in this disappointment was the hours of service your restaurants had which was to close at 2pm and not open again until 5pm, forcing us to order room service with then a $5 charge!! 4. We stayed in a deluxe spa room and the toilet seat was broken (this was changed) and the room was definitely not as seen in pictures. Over our 3 night stay we were totally disappointed with the resort and service provided. The infinity pool bar is only known fridays and Saturdays as well! Please be more considerate of your guest who pay top dollar to stay here and expect impeccable experiences.
Tower accommodations are a bit tired. Covid or currently being the shoulder between wet and dry season means second pool is only open on weekends and day spa and a number of restaurants not open. Mindil beach location is great. Lagoon pool is nice but not monitored and kids jump from pedestrian bridge.
I only spent the afternoon here which was very easy overlooking the beach. I would have liked to have had time to see a sunset from the deck.
