Milky Lane Newstead

Amazing food, fun drinks, friendly staff and fun/youthful environment. However, almost returned home after arriving to a long line up. Booking line and payment line is the same and you have to wait regardless of if you book or not. In my opinion, skip the booking. We had to ask for cutlery 5 time from different staff, some patties were inconsistent (more well done that others) and some sauces were missing from chips therefore we asked 3 different staff to please get it for us. Overall, they have great potential to make this restaurant amazing by greeting customers faster by splitting the lines and faster service.

Owen was great, super friendly and helpful. Dinner was great and came out super quick. Dessert took a little while to come out however was not an issue.

Delicious food and great atmosphere music not too loud which is great not to scream at each other over music. very busy. Suggestions would be for wait staff to have dedicated sections as we waited half hour before order was taken and others who came before us were served prior. need a store at springfield it would be so busy! otherwise we will be back

I was there for first time today to have a lunch with my partner, the Place is so cool, I like how the restaurant looks and the music too. I had an incident with my food and staff was so friendly and fixed that in a very lovely way, I will come back for sure! ♥️ Food was delicious and my snickers milk shake was yummy 🤤 See you guys

Best burgers in Brisbane. One of the best burgers in Brisbane for sure. Great sides as well. And cocktail and drinks. Great service and decor. Can’t wait to be back.

First time visiting the Newstead Milky Lane, I took my friends here for their first experience as I’ve already been before, but to the one in Surfers Paradise. Food and drinks are amazing! Only negative is that all of our drinks came out one by one, and by the time the last drink came out half of us had already finished and were ready to order our second.. it would have been nicer if the drinks could all be served within closer time frames. Thanks! *Edit Thanks for the reply! I appreciate the offer, however I already revisited Milky Lane in Surfer's Paradise last Saturday night and my faith was already restored. Excellent service there, lucky we got in just in time before the 7.30 rush! :)

Kylie, Rosie and Charlie made sure we always had drinks and took such good care of everything. Burgers were amazing! I need that cheese gravy recipe.

Served by grace who was super friendly and super chill the burgers were amazing and me and my partner loved it! Definitely going back again.

We normally have an adequate experience here, but unfortunately tonight, it was really unsatisfactory. The drinks took forever to come out with some drinks arriving half an hour after the other. The food did come out all together, but when we ordered shots, they also came out staggered and they weren’t worth the $10 they cost. Heaps of the staff members were injured on the floor tonight, so I hope that they have adequate pay to take time off to recover. There was also really bad communication between the wait and bar staff, so I would recommend that order of service be revisited.

Very accommodating, we had to change our booking time twice. Once arrived, wow great atmosphere and fantastic murals on the walls. Harper looked after us really well, and we had a great night. Happy Birthday Tristan!!
