Busy atmosphere, I recommend booking in advance! Fantastic wait service. Efficient & professional staff. Lighting is created to set an mood however is a little more dark than desirable & would benefit from being slightly more lit up. Food was prompt to be prepared. Flavoursome meals, well sized also.

Fantastic ribs steaks and even fish! The melas are large, cooked to perfection and flavoured brilliantly. Even the vegetables and salads are good, but the star of the plate is the amazing meats that Mike has prepared to perfection! The price seems high at first , but it’s extremely good value for high quality food and lots of it! The wine list is good and plenty of them by the glass. The one thing to complain about is that the melas are so big I did not get to try dessert which looked amazing! Mikes do provide take home containers for meals you can’t finish - and it’s worth taking home the left overs. The atmosphere is really well suited to big meaty dishes - warm and comfortable, not too noisy and some great booths and nooks for a more private dining experience. The staff are excellent, very helpful and friendly, you know they are proud of what they do and that they care that you have a great experience

Overall a nice stake house and rib restaurant, with nice atmosphere including a hint of South Africa🇿🇦🇿🇦. Staff members are also friendly and welcoming. We were served by Rod and he was very friendly too. The only reason to not giving 5 stars rating because of the limitations on the menus, I.e. no beef or lamb ribs were offered except the pork ribs. Also the Baramandi fish fillets are average. Adding more options for the ribs would be great. Overall really nice restaurant with plenty of parking spaces available. Maybe answering the phone before 4pm on week days and opportunities to book anytime would be great 👍👍

Food was delicious. Obviously a very popular place, even midweek. Staff were lovely. Will definitely go back again.
