Midam Korean Charcoal BBQ

A few things to say, I feel this place has been judged to harshly from other people that have rated it. This a friendly and welcoming atmosphere and it is very much Korean BBQ, this means you need to accept a few thing, this place is run like a true Korean BBQ and you may feel culture shock from it, remember the staff are there to help you and many complaints I have read could of been solved by asking a staff member. There is also something else you need to know, with the all you can eat, you need to understand they don't want you to waste food. To prevent this they say if you grab to much meat and you can't eat it all they will fine you 20bucks, be understanding this is a big thing in Asian culture (to not waste food) and to respect this is not hard. Moving on to the food it is high quality and the price is well and truly a bargain for what you get, so if you think you want to try it stop thinking and start doing this place is a hidden gem and should be visited.

I came here for dinner with my partner and our 3 kids at 6:15pm. Everything was fine until we realized that the kids foods is taking longer than it should as other tables after us got there food . We asked the server to check if the food was even ordered. She said one minute she will check . But she didn’t get back to us . We rang the bell so many times for attention as the kids were demanding food . But no one responded . Then finally we asked the server that took our order from the start , she than advised us that the kids food wasn’t even order as she forgot to add it in. We end up getting McDonald’s on the way home for the kids was extremely disappointed in the service tonight.

Awesome meal, nice boy who served us- will definitely be back to try the buffet.

Out for my colleagues farewell party dinner, place was so busy, good food for value $, Thank you for the staffs who was very patience to looked after us. 😁

Great all you can eat bbq here. Good range of tasty meat and other side dishes as well. The a la carte menu is also great if you don’t want to eat the all you can eat menu. Staff are accommodating as it was busy and we had a large group plus a pram

This evening had a long overdue catchup with some wonderful friends in a private room at Midam. The restaurant were extremely helpful prior to tonight to enable our reservation to be made. The service was great and the food absolutely delicious. Thank you so much to all at Midam for a wonderful evening - we will definitely be back.

We got the buffet option which at the moment is served to you by staff kinda awkwardly but I get it’s what needs to happen. Food quality was nice and the staff were very pleasant. Wasn’t cheap though but will go back.

Good place to have korean bbq. Parking is limited, better to come early on the weekend.

Had dinner with about 12 friends. I was at a table with 2 others. they had to leave early due to a family emergency. They paid before they left. As the rest of us were leaving I went to pay my share. I stated what I had for myself to pay and the cashier kept asking about the other items attached to the table. I ended up paying for the whole table to save anextra arguement. The next day after talking to the other 2 people I was sitting with, it would seem that I had double paid for their share. Not knowing exactly what they had ordered I could not confirm this at the register on the night. So it turned out to be a very expensive meal due to fact that no one at the restaurant noted that my friends had already paid. Also it would be nice if you could just go to the bar and order and pay for drinks on your own and not have to wait for the staff to serve you. I would have spent an extra $50 on drinks if they were more accessible.

Good food with reasonable price. We ordered “all ya can east” but some kind of meat got finished very soon !
