Melbourne Charcoal Chicken

My partner and I swear by MCC! The food is always fantastic, their service is great. We check every day to see if it is back open. I 100% recommend coming here as it is the BEST charcoal chicken we have ever had.

I'm not sure if the taste was charcoal, however it did come out cold with hot fries, at least the oil was clean for the fries, the salad had no dressing. I wouldn't rate this place as others have done, I've had better charcoal chicken at other places in Melbourne.

Thanks to Michael and his staff. It was the best charcoal chicken ever. Very tasty, great quality chips and the beetroot salad was perfect. Someone told me MCC was the best chicken in Melb and I had to try, now I am convinced.

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!!! We have been looking for the best charcoal chicken North of... well... Antarctica and we finally found it! One of our chef mates recommended these guys and they didn't disappoint! We ordered a massive feast last year for our family Xmas lunch (a couple of days after xmas) and since then go back at least every few months. Their chicken pasta salad is amazing - you can tell nonna is chopping that capsicum by hand - and the gravy is to die for... if youre not local but on the beach and starving, ring in a chook, you won't be disappointed!!!

We have ordered from them a couple of times, their Schnitzel Fries + Gravy pack is good value, tasty and always arrives fresh. Their 1/2 Chicken with salads is amazing too (Chicken Pasta salad is to die for!!!). They accidently gave us a double serving, and being a local restaurant we wanted to pay but they made it clear it was their mistake and they wont take payment for it. Good quality food, good pricing and good ethics. Support local and buy some chicken from these guys, you wont regret it!

Best local chicken shop. Love the food and great service. Def can't complain and not sure why someone wrote a bad review. Been living locally since Feb and really like their food. Give it a try!
