Mega Yeeros

Our favourite place to eat. Covid has restricted our visits but great food and staff.

Came on a buzzing warm Friday night with some friends and enjoyed the experience throughout. Had the meat platter for 2 for $60 and was filling and delicious, while a Mythos beer went down well. Great value for money and excellent atmosphere. The staff were very helpful and accommodating.

If you after a sensational meaty feast then look no further than Mega Yeeros. Tender and succulent meats, bursting with flavours and exceptional quality-wise. Dips are freshly made and you'll definitely be able to taste the difference. If you're feeling peckish, then you can't go pass the cheesy balls and saganaki. A wonderful meal is in store for everyone here.

Located in the heart of Eaton Mall in Oakleigh is this amazing restaurant that serves up a storm. For entrees we tried the dips and pita bread, the eggplant chips, the cheese balls and really enjoyed it. The dips were really good and i highly recommend them. For main we decided to have the meat platter to share and it was perfect for meat lovers. The meat is nicely marinated and they went so well with the pita bread. It is perfect for sharing as well There was such a good variety to choose from on the menu and we really enjoyed our meal

Mega Ok 🤷‍♂️ Came here for dinner and popped because everywhere else was too busy so thought we would give it a crack. I had been here long time ago when they first opened and it was pretty decent. They seem to have changed the menu. 📓Tbh not for the better. Staff were very friendly. Bit pushy to get us to ask if we were ready to order. But overall friendly. Ordered the standard meat chips salad plate. Came out fast. Serving size was good. Taste compared to the competition around was a bit meh but still OK. Probably wouldn't come back unless i couldn't get a table anywhere else around. Easy to find. Easy to get a park. Restaurant kept very clean. Price was decent. Would recommend to try and see for yourself 👍

The lamb was superb, the ouzo fine. It was just that we had to wait over an hour for our food was a bit sad. But we decided it just must have been that they were overwhelmed on Mother's Day.

This was my first time trying Mega Yeeros. I was contemplating whether to give them 3 or 4 Stars, but, based on food alone, I believe 4 Stars is fair. When we arrived, there was just one other table with 6 people and us (we were two). The waitress was assisting the large table and kept on going between the kitchen and their table. We waited for around a minute and, when nobody approached us, we just grabbed a seat (as the restaurant was basically empty). Shortly after we sat down, other patrons started arriving and sitting outside, so a male waiter started going in/out to take water and menus to them. On one of his trips, I asked him if we can just grab a menu and he just asked if we could wait a bit. By then, we had been inside for over 10 minutes! A couple of minutes later, we did get water and a couple of menus. We placed our order with the girl and she shortly brought me the beer I ordered. More people kept on arriving and, soon, some of the tables, who arrived after us, started to receive their food, which was frustrating. I finally asked the waiter to come and advised him we’ve ordered 25 min ago (and been in for close to 40 min) and we intend on leaving in 5 min if we don’t get served. He apologised, went to check with the kitchen, and within 2-3 minutes, brought our food. The food was nicely presented and tasty. Far from the best Greek I’ve had, but, nevertheless, it was nice and fresh. The prices were very good too — each dish was $22.90, which was good for the quantity. As a whole, it was fine, however, considering the competition at Eaton Mall, I don’t believe I’d be going back in a hurry.

Appalling service, food not so great. The service completely ruined the experience as it seemed like they forgot my order, waiter was completely unprofessional about it, was standing there laughing and did not appear to do something about it, shocking, never going back there and will be advising other friends and family to do the same!!

If you’re craving a crazy good Greek feast then you should head to mega yeeros. They’ve got delicious food, great staff and it’s a good vibe. Especially on the weekend! Make sure you try the cheese balls - absolutely droolworthy!
