We arrived at McDonald’s at 5am from Sydney and were exhausted, whereby we were greeted by a very friendly team member named Emily. She served us with a beautiful smile and we purchased our meals and also heated our food upon our request. She is an asset to the company and if I lived locally I would visit this McDonalds often only to be served by your excellent team member Emily. She deserves some sort of recognition. Thank you so much Emily for making our start of the day awesome. You are a legend.
Absolutely no Dine in. Not even allowed to stand inside. There are some seats behind the car park though. Toilet is clean and service is reasonable fast.
A fairly average McDonald's but in a good spot. Both indoor and outdoor seating, but I recommend the outdoor seating because it's clean and shaded with none of the noise or cramped feelings of the inside seating. They don't like to serve customers at the registers, it was much quicker using the self-service kiosks. Our food was accurate and tasted okay. There are a few of the Koala statues in the area, so it's good for tourists.
Even though it was busy in the midst of a long weekend the staff were organised and all seemed to know what was going on, getting orders out fast. Restaurant was also kept clean. A refreshing change to some of the other franchises I have been to recently.
CHECK👁 your order before you leave. I've ordered through this place a couple of times while seeing friends and the order has been completely wrong or items missing🤦♀️. Went back and corrected the order free of charge🙂👍 But all in all a good McDonald's fast👍. But I think the management is bad. Staff don't know much or not much guidance is given. Staff members don't know what is on the menu or what should be in a meal. I feel bad for staff members when they're getting yelled at for the wrong order and trying not to break into tears while correcting the order it is not their fault😢. It is the managers fault for chucking the younger staff in the deep end when its clear they are not ready.
Cheryl wasn't serving being an evening so while we were served it was very impersonal as the young staff have very little skills in customer service. They don't wear their name tags so you can't address them by first names. Usual McD menu so had toasties for a change and a better value item. No papers as seems the norm now. Having a toastie used to qualify for a seniors drink but not now only with a burger meal.
