The winery is worth a visit for the wines, we also had lunch and I was surprised how tiny the serving sizes were for the money they charge, after an entree and main, we all left hungry and ended up going down the road for a cheese platter.

Great food, great service. Best cooked steak I gave ever had, period.

Amazing views, food and wine

A wonderful degustation experience. The presentation, quality and taste of the food was superb. We were a late booking plus we had one vegetarian in the group, who they were not aware of but was able to accommodate amazingly well. The whole team made us feel so welcome and took the time to explain each of the dishes. We were absolutely full by the end when we asked for the bill, when another three dishes of petit fours, chocolates and sweets appeared. A must do when visiting McLaren Vale.

Great fine dining experience in a beautiful setting. We had a 10 course degustation dinner menu. Flavourwise, the dishes were delicious and carefully configured. Service was good - staff was friendly. One area of improvement and feedback would be to Introduce the Chefs menu before starting with the first dish: we were led to our table without any kind of explanation of the chef or the story on how the menu would look like and got food served 5 minutes after we had sat down.

Fantastic day, service and food amazing

Overall it was a good experience, however, there were a couple of dishes where it seemed the technique or uniqueness was prioritised over flavour. Best example was a jelly tomato water which really wasn't great. If looking for a treat lunch in McLaren Vale there are better places.

The manager i have never met so rude 12th December, spent over 400 on food not even wine and ruined my hole expirance, I just could not belive it , I spend so so much money there , never in 15 years have I ever come across someone so rude and ruin my experience arfter spending so much money, I am disgusted , I know so many people who love the same expirance as me as my partner we were holding hands across table absolutely loving excited for our expirance who wouldn't with money spending w 110 per person plus over 100 on wines by the glass I will never go back.. and that really saddened me and my partner as we go to barrasa every second weekend and maclaren Vale altinadem .. Please dont go there

Excellent food and service, definately try the trout starter. Small menu but great quality and presentation.

Great service and amazing tastes of food and wine. Try Mead - it is sweet but one of a kind.
