Great food and coffee

Mason & Bird is a lovely cafe with a surprising amount of seating area. There are 2 outdoor areas and indoor also. The ambience is lovely with a tree in the middle of the cafe! The staff were friendly and the food was made pretty efficiently :) Now to the food :) I had the vegetarian burger which was yum and came with a nice portion of very nicely favoured chips. The burger was unique with turmeric pickled cabbage! Might be nice with a slice of tomato or beetroot too. My friends had the vege on toast which also was a good size with nice flavour.

Absolutely wonderful! The staff were super friendly and food delicious. definitely recommend the chicken or pork burgers, we tried both and all the flavours worked nicely together.

Matt (the owner) is a bloody legend. Constantly on duty at the coffee machine and greets everyone entering. I've heard his coffees are first class brilliance. Their breakfast burgers and daily juices are among the best I've had. I would recommend any and everyone to get over to Mason and Bird and give them a shot. I will definitely be back. The pork burger was so delicious fresh and tasty, the staff were very friendly and efficient ( and it was very busy at the time)They were very accomodating and would definitely go back.

Waited more than 15 minutes for a take away ham and cheese croissant. Asked the staff, they realised it hadn't been put on to the grill, I saw them pick it up from the fridge and take it into the kitchen after I asked them. Then they tried to say it was due to the cue of orders, when clearly the staff forgot to take the item out of the fridge until I asked. Didn't say sorry. Also, $9.50 for a ham and cheese croissant? Even the most expensive places in Perth don't come close to that.

Had a great experience here. Loved the openness of the cafe with outdoor seating on both sides. Staff were really friendly, and their bacon and egg toastie was amazing.
