Maru Koala and Animal Park

Small zoo and fun mini golf. Under 10s loved it. Getting to pet some animals was a such fun. Would be a 5* if the food had been better - ice cream tasted a little old

My daughter is Koala obsessed currently so looked online for a Koala Experience. So glad we chose Maru. After booking entry tickets the Koala Encounter was only an extra $30 which included 2 professional photos. Feeding of Kangaroos and Wallaby's was great as well. Includes mini golf which to be honest is a little run down but still a bit of fun. Highly recommended

We visited Maru Park whilst on vacation on the island, it was off peak time so the park was k only at 1/4 capacity. There were plenty of staff available inside the main building and were all friendly and accomodating. The park offers live info sessions in the different enclosure areas at scheduled times. Otherwise you're welcome to roam around on your own and view the different wildlife in their pens. I enjoyed the large kangaroo area where you can walk in and feed them from your hand. It's a great activity for kids to experience their first interaction with different animals.

Really good place to take kids or even adults that likes animals. Feeding cangurus is a great experience and the talk show with koalas is great. We also did the encounter experience with the koala and loved. I think the ticket is a little bit expensive ($30 for an adult).

We loved all the feeding opportunities for the wallabies, kangaroos and peacocks. Gabby was a book of knowledge and the lady we met on entry was very informative also. We had so much fun playing mini golf and would recommend a visit to the park.

Had such a great time at the golf course, which is why we went, but had no idea there was such a fantastic little animal farm there too. Was absolutely fantastic and love the hourly talks. Had a huge...too much to eat...meal at the Cafe. It was fabulous

My partner and I have an annual pass for this place, we only live 30 minutes away and we love coming over here for a day out even half a day out. We love the animals and seeing them all but we can't go past pirate petes mini golf. Its always and adventure and we wouldn't have it any other way. I highly recommend Maru we have been going for years and we will continue to go for years to come it is one of our favourite places

Maru animal park is more than just an animal park. Visited with kid and was fun to explore the place, encounter with animals (not limited too) like kangaroos (even white), possums, peacocks, python, dingo, koala, etc. The talks with animals is impressive with the knowledge shared, even the lifetime chance to touch python and feed kangaroos. In addition, the mini golf adds to fun

We went into the mini golf (animal park next time!!). The kids had a tonne of fun. A couple of the holes were a little broken but we were able to find the balls and have another try. It was clean and welcoming, and all the patrons were relaxed and having a good time.
