The Marko menu has something for every occasion, and really well priced too. The team are lovely and the suggested Melbourne-centric drink pairings are the perfect accompaniment to your meal, especially if you're not really sure what you want. Highly recommend this little spot. It's a very much welcomed addition to the South Melbourne restaurant offering.

I am super impressed with Marko! The plant-based vegan burgers are really flavourful and delicious. Marko is located at South Melbourne Market , right on the corner of York and Cecil Street. The restaurant is very spacious, airy, with lots of natural light. Love how there are lots of green plants everywhere, so nice! We ordered: 𝑩𝒖𝒓𝒈𝒆𝒓𝒔 🧀 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗼 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗯𝘂𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗿 🍄 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝗵𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝘂𝘅𝗲 𝑺𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒔 🌽 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗻 𝗥𝗶𝗯𝘀 🍟 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀 Both burgers were flavour with yummy light fluffy coconut milk bun. The house-made patty is made with mushrooms, sunflower butter, coconut oil, lentils and beetroot – soo soo delicious! The super tasty Mushroom deluxe is soo loaded with mushrooms including the patty, roasted mushrooms & crispy enoki mushrooms – so mouth-watering! You must order the corn ribs, they’re soo addictively delicious with the herb butter (chilli oil added to the side) and you cant go wrong in chips with sea salt and fresh herb seasoning. Cant wait to return and try the fried crispy cauliflower burger!

OMG - its amazing! The food is superb, the staff so friendly and its in a great spot at the market. Had the cheeseburger, sweet potato chips, corn ribs and a beer. Well priced and lots more on the menu that looked nice. Recommend and will be back!

The food at Marko's is the real deal. From someone who eats meat with most meals the Mushroom Deluxe burger, Corn Ribs and Season Green Bowl really hit the spot and were absolutely delicious. Staff were super nice and the decor was on point. Highly recommend and will be back!

Great new spot at South Melbourne Market - great option to grab a beer with friends and eat some healthy, no fuss fresh food. The cheeseburger, corn ribs and sweet potato chips were just delicious! Definitely recommend!

MARKO, South Melbourne Market 📍 we checked out @eatmarko newly opened in @southmelbournemarket! They are a new Plant Based Restaurant on the main strip, and their food is vegan friendly but also super tasty! 🌱 For two non vegans- we really enjoyed the food! 😋 . We tried their Vegan Cheese Burger (it was so yum- the mushroom patty was great!) , Spicy Falafel (burger was better tho!) , Crispy Sweet Potato Fries 🍠 and signature spicy Corn Ribs... the Sichuan spices on charred corn ribs were a true highlight 🌽! The Yuzu Soda & Mandarin Not G&T were perfect with our meal! 🥰✨🍸 . The team here were super friendly and walked us through everything. Thank you for having me! New plant based burger place in the busy spot of South Melbourne Market. Their burgers and chips were tasty, their corn ribs were delish and they have great cocktails. One of the staff kept asking if we finished with the chips every 2 minutes while we still had chips in the bowl. This place is outstanding. The plant-based cheeseburger has smoke, crunch and sauce in all the right proportions. The service is happy and quick. Hard to beat Marko for a lunch spot.

Everyone must try CRISPY CAULI! It was so yummy, and I love Marko because I can enjoy delicious food without feeling guilty. Sustainable and plant based ^_^

I only left Marko an hour ago, and I am already thinking about when I am going next! Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and most importantly, tasty, tasty food. Highly recommend the Crispy Cauli, accompanied by some corn ribs. Top stuff, Marko!
