If your coming here for a good pie forget about it!!! I've had some bad pies in my life and these have to up in the top 10 worst pies, they hardly have any filling at all, they dont know how to grease the inside of the tin before cooking them so the bottom just falls apart. And the fact that they're $6 too is just wrong and un Australian. I suggest going to swagmans pie shop in nambour if you want a great pie ive had nothing but great experiences from there. But your tarts and sweets are on point no complaints there

Nestled in Mapletons town centre is Sweet and Flour Bakery Cafe located on on Obi Obi Road corner. Small little shop with treats that will tantalise your tastebuds. We ordered pepper steak pie, Smokey, plain pie and choc brown and caramel banana tart 🧁, The pastry of the pies and Smokey are delicious, soft and crunchy… just how pastry on a pie should be. 🥧 the bottom part of the pastry was a little too soft however the pie was easily edible even soft. The dessert pastry on the tarts is amazing 🤩 and is why we ventured up the hinterland in the first place. Having eaten there before we discovered that there dessert pastry is worth driving/riding for.

Despite some of the recent whining comments, their baking is amazing. As a local, this is the ONLY bakery worth coming to. Everything is baked fresh! I have never had anything from here that is tasteless, stale or soggy....in fact it is one of the best bakeries that I have ever been able to find. Go and try their brownies and tell me you can find better. As for their customer service, it is warm, welcoming and friendly. Ignore the Karens and support this amazing bakery.

Great service! Fantastic tarts. If you love a good loaf try them out. If you want a fresh bun in the oven give em a go. If you want a great panini get one of these into you.

Disappointed. Customer service wasn’t very good, then I was overcharged. The tart was okay. The vanilla slice was pretty bad to the point I couldn’t finish it, icing tasted off and the rest tasted like old cardboard. Coffee was average. Definitely recommend skipping this place if you’re in town.

If you love cherries, the cherry pie is for you. Pastry was just as it should be and filling had the right amount of tart and sweetness. Friendly staff.

Stopped here for a quick lunch, bought a plain pie and a custard tart. The pie wasn't particularly memorable, but the custard tart was the best I've ever had, and I've eaten a lot of them. The pastry was light and held the weight of the custard but still crumbled during a bite providing perfect texture balance. The custard was rich and creamy and not overly sweet, and dense enough to hold its weight even higher than the pastry. Seriously impressed.

Wow what a great place, it was my first time here but I will be coming back. Very friendly staff, great prices. The coffee was really good and the Massaman Curry pie 🥧 was the best pie I have ever had. Amazing, highly recommend a visit. Beautiful town in an amazing area.

Last stop on our mystery picnic where we picked up meat pies and a French bread stick, all were very yummy
