Mamma's Boy Trattoria

I don’t usually find Italian Restaurant to have this warm & inviting vibes like Mamma’s Boy Trattoria. Perfect for an evening out with family and loved ones. The food, the ambiance and the hospitality of the staff all are amazing! One of my favorite is the Veal Cotoletta. The crumbed was good and crispy while the meat is juicy and tender. We ordered both of the Gnocchi menu and their both amazing! I personally prefer the Gnocchi Porcini Mushrooms better than the other one. Will definitely come back here 👌🏻

I had an overall pleasant experience of all you can eat gnocchi lunch at Mama's Boy Trattoria. You start with a bit of bread then you get right into 3 flavours of gnocchi and unlimited supply of cocktails.. With gnocchi, while they tasted excellent, soft gnocchi and flavour some sauce, it was not a standout. Cocktails were great though. I'd highly recommend a visit with a group of friends for a chatty lunch!

Mamma's Boy Trattoria is truly a hidden gem of Brunswick. The ambience was beautiful as though you've stepped into Italy. The service was friendly and the pasta was to die for! It's probably amongst the best Italian meals Ive had in Melbourne. A big shout out to Dario also who made our evening dining experience amazing! Will come back 10/10!

The bottomless gnocchi and cocktails were awesome! Service was really nice, Dario was great! Everything was delicious and really great ambience.

Had an overall pleasant experience at Mamma's Boy Trattoria. The venue is warm and cozy; staff appeared friendly. We ordered the Homemade Arancini, Caprese Salad, Twice Cooked Duck pasta, and Slow Cooked Lamb Shoulder. Most dishes were enjoyable but the Lamb Shoulder was tough and just lukewarm. Their cocktails are worth the try, my personal favourite was Mamma's Favourite.

Best of the best! Excellent 6 Star Chef! When you are there, look for Dario the excellent owner and ask to show you his collection of awards on the wall. Menu, the mouth watering pappardelle confit duck was awesome and the Brodetto di Pesce is a must try! Environment, music, wine and liqueur exquisite... ten star

Bottomless Gnocchi! Say no more! It is an Italian's dream to eat gnocchi NO STOP..and not only amazing food but delicious cocktails as well. Aperol Spritz included. The gnocchi are so good, soft and fresh. But the food and drinks are not the only good thing about the Trattoria.. what amazed me is how they whole staff made me feel so comfortable. This was the best pasta I’ve had since I was in Italy. I had the ravioli tartaric e carciofo and you could taste the handmade pasta and perfect combinations of ingredients from the get go. I would 100% recommend to anyone who loves authentic Italian.

Such a great spot! Staff are super friendly and accomodating. They happily omitted the guanciale from the truffle gnocchi dish to make it vegetarian friendly and it was INCREDIBLE! They also put together a few non-alcoholic drinks for us - I’m still dreaming about the delicious mandarin mocktail. Highly highly recommend and I’ll definitely be back!

Came here for my birthday. We had a big table but the service was so fast, staff were so friendly and respectful. Everything was perfect and the food is amazing! Everyone loved it Thankyou
