Cracking bacon and egg roll. Would prefer normal white bread roll to brioche. Great coffee. Great service.

Mad Kitchen has been around for several years, surviving both COVID-19 and a depressed economy. I'll admit it's been a while since I've been back to Mad Kitchen, so I was pleasantly surprised to see them still in business. The service is always polite and friendly, and the food is usually delivered promptly, though usual time of day allowances have to be factored in. The menu has always focussed more on the more healthy side without being too exorbitant; unlike one of their competitors across the road who feels healthy food should be paid by its weight in gold. Plenty of seating, predominantly under shade means you can have a leisurely coffee whilst watching the traffic surge past RBWH. Admittedly it isn't the most ambient setting, but for a quick breakfast coffee or a lunch, Mad Kitchen does a fine job of it.

Nice setting and polite staff but the Smashed Avo had so much lemon in it that eating it tasted like biting into a lemon. My lips were shrivelled up from it for hours afterwards from all the lemon juice. Also the tea can be very weak even after brewing for 10+ minutes

Delicious food and drink with a huge range to pick from, friendly staff and fairly quick service for a very busy Cafe! I would suggest booking a table for groups at lunch time.

What a delight this cafe is and so close to the Royal Brisbane Hospital. Lightening quick service for a healthy salad and yum long black coffee. Highly recommend with outdoor dining available under cover.
