Top Chicken (Macedon Square Chicken & Salad Bar)

My family has been going to Macedon Square Chicken & Salad Bar for many years now and the food is always high quality delicious and fresh. The staff are extremely friendly and have great customer service skills, food is also very well priced. 10/10 highly recommend.

Amazing place for a tasty chicken. Quite straightforward options: quarter, half or whole chicken. Chips and fresh salads are quite delicious. Definitely I recommend it.

Purchased meals here many times over the years. Freshly roasted chicken cooked on an electric rotisserie, not charcoal. They have a good range of freshly made salads, the Greek and the Tabouli being our favourites. You have to be quick though as they frequently sell out, generally by 6 -7:00pm, especially if you are after a whole roast chicken.

I’ve had some amazing beef burgers there, best mix with garlic sauce and mayo. And the chicken nuggets are outta this world. 100% better than maccas.

I was so so terribly disappointed. I bought a chicken yesterday and when I arrived at my destination, salivating and hungry for roast chicken, I discovered that my chicken had no stuffing! That is the very first time in my life that I’ve ever purchased a chicken in Australia with no stuffing. It was tasteless and boring. I called the store to complain and all she was prepared to tell me was that their product was gluten free. She didn’t tell me that the chicken was not stuffed. I told her that she should have told me, as Australian people would expect their chicken to be stuffed. All she said to me was “you didn’t ask”. I will never go back again. I never expected to have to ask. The irony is that I was in Woollies a little earlier and definitely would have bought a chicken from them, but thought I would support the local small business. In this case a big mistake

We have gone to this chicken shop for 4 years and the food is always delicious. Potato is always cooked to the right crispness and chicken and salad is perfect together. I usually get roasted veggies with the chicken as they're sweat and a bit crunchy. New owner is nice and treatment is respectful. Highly recommended! 😄

Friendly staff, enjoyed the quarter chicken pack, chicken nuggets had great seasoning and were nicely crisped. Clean place.
