My friends and I have been to Japan a number of times and get that itch every so often for some authentic Japanese tucker. IMHO Mamagoto serves really good Japanese food that is ideal for lunch, especially if time is a consideration. The menu is extensive and the girls taking the order are very helpful and if you are like me that is after a particular dish but just can not remember what it is called. They will have you sorted out asap, and you can then sit down and look forward to a very good meal.

We stopped by on the way back to Sydney. My kids wanted to have ramen for lunch. I saw a ramen photo on google. So we came over. But it didn’t provide ramen anymore. We could only order bento box or sushi. We ordered a mamagoto bento and sashimi bento. They tasted ok. But the ice coffee was good. I saw lots of locals came over to buy take aways. And the shop owner/manager chatted with them happily.

Friendly staff especially the owner Heith. relaxed atmosphere & good service. Always have a green tea latte. Its an awesome place. one of the nicest in Coffs & better vibe than many of the others for an early morning coffee.

The food is great. It is my first time to try ramen salad and it is surprisingly refreshing. The price is amazingly cheap. Although the food took a bit longer than usual to come. It is understandable with the amount of customers and the size of their tiny kitchen. So go there early to beat the crowd.

Outdoor dining worth doing! Very personable and cheerful service. Despite a line-up of customers - a good advertisement in itself - more than happy to explain what certain menu items were. Food was ready in reasonable time and was fresh. Portions were decent.

The food and customer service was amazing. Would definitely come back when I'm in town.

Delicious food, great menu to choose from, friendly and helpful staff. We went back twice while holidaying int the area just to eat at Mamagoto.

Delicious Japanese food! Totally recommend it. One of the best places in Coffs.

Seriously, every time we go to Coffs Harbour, this is the place we eat at. MaMaGoto has a happy and open atmosphere, super friendly and joyful service and delicious, scrumptious, yummy Japanese food. My personal favourite dish is the pescatarian bento box and the Japanese pumpkin cheesecake
