Tried out the famous Mos burger from Japan. We ordered the Easy Cheesy burgers which use wagyu beef patties. The beef patties are juicy and tasty although were more beef sausage tasting that beef mince. Would be tastier if they were thicker patties but for the prices (great value!) I can understand why they are at 80gm. Lettuce and red onion was very fresh and enjoyed that there was also mayo in the burger - made it tastier. The store we went to had a couple of Japanese table settings upstairs where you can sit on the cushions floor on low tables - was quite a cute set up!

I have enjoyed Mos Burger’s birthday celebrations every week for the last 5 weeks - fish burger, mos cheese burger, beef yakiniku, prawn katsu and karaage. The burgers and chips are delicious and the iced tea tastes great. The people are friendly and patient. They don’t have drinks holders for multiple drinks takeaways or plastic bags which is a bit surprising but is good for the environment.

Overall, this was pretty good. The chips were well seasoned and the serving sizes are comparable to Mos Burger in Japan. I had the Yakiniku Burger which was excellent. I also had a Prawn Katsu Burger (which is my favourite in Japan), but it was quite dry. I'm glad there's unsweetened green tea. I'll come back again for the Yakiniku Burger though. The rice bun was also excellent. Staff were efficient.

Came for one of the 10th anniversary deals in May: $1 burger with the purchase of any side meal. The burger on offer on the day of my visit was a prawn katsu burger: a premium prawn katsu, crisp shredded cabbage and creamy tartar sauce. This went down pretty well, and maybe I enjoyed it slightly more because it’s been a while since my last visit so I’ve kinda missed the taste. I chose the normal fries and a cranberry tea for my side meal. Total cost $8.50. The fries were fairly average - may have been improved by paying the 50c upgrade to add the nori or ichimi (red chilli pepper) seasoning. The drink was above average, served rather cold (had to hold it while waiting for the rest of our takeaway order so was feeling it!), with a nice shot of cranberry flavour (and some actual fruit in the drink).

The double wagyu beef patties were super soft, juicy & tasty. The Nishimi Chips were crisp and nicely spicy. Perfectly combined with black iced tea. Service was friendly & fast.

I used to love this place but was quite disappointed with the dry bun, small bit of thin dry chicken that only took up half the burger and a bit of sauce that was only on one side... the iced tea was all ice and no tea... and to top it off, they dont do wedges anymore 😭

Food is so yummy and much better quality then Macca's for a similar price if not cheaper per meal! The melon soda is my favourite! So refreshing
