Maple & Finch

Discovered this place via TheFork. We ordered the Finch Bacon & Egg Roll, Finch Cheese Burger and Nutella & Strawberries Pancakes. Great food and services. The food tasted fresh. Although the prices are a tad more expensive than what I would like to pay for lunch on a regular basis. Still, I would recommend this neighborhood gem as the food did taste delicious and staff were lovely.

This place has pancakes of all sorts. You name it, they've got it. The Burger Pancake was epic, just right and the Salted Caramel...ooft! Next visit will be more pancakes and maybe a burger. Oh and the coffee is bloody epic, if you know me you know I love my coffee and the piccolo was right up my alley. Head in, check it out and see for yourself.

The pancakes here are great, savoury or sweet they are full of flavour and moorish!! The Chorizo Goats Cheese and Blueberry Ricotta were so good we'll definitely be coming back to try the others. Not forgetting to mention the specially designed coffee blend is up there with the best and compliments the pancakes very well. We got chatting with the owner who was very hospitable, he and the staff made us feel very welcome in this cosy place.

The first thing you notice about Maple and Finch is the wonderful staff, always happy and just you feel welcomed! Especially when you have some cheeky banter with Mason. But then you order the incredible food and coffee... and WOW!! I am addicted to their coffee and I am slowly working my way through their menu and each dish I have is just the right amount, and the flavour is wonderfully crafted! Definitely make your way down and treat yourself.

For a place that specialises in Pancakes, they lack a lot of flavour and substance. Not sweet or salty, just super super plain. Maybe that's what they're aiming for, but if I'm going to a specialist I want depth. Good if you want insta pics, but not if you want a great Pancake. 2 stars because Coffee was good, but this isn't a coffee shop, it's a Pancake shop.

Great service, coffee, food presentation. I had the halloumi eggs which were delicious. Will save the pancakes for next time. Also, 10/10 for providing a knife sharp enough to cut through sourdough without jettisoning half your meal off the plate 👏.

Maple & Finch is something that we never knew we needed … until now !! Who doesn’t like fluffy delicious tasty Pancakes 🥞 right ..!! SO SO good, with a variety of combos & flavours it’s our new local go-to & the kids absolutely love it 😋 not to mention the staff are all so welcoming & super friendly. Fluffiest pancakes ever! Noticed that Maple & Finch opened up around the corner from me so decided to try my local and definitely no regrets. I had the Lotus Biscoff pancakes and they were absolutely delish. Most pancakes I’ve tried are usually very dry but these ones did not disappoint. Can’t wait to go back and try the rest of the menu!!

Been here 3 times since it opened. Great food and coffee at a decent price. Staff are all super lovely. However yesterday on my third visit all waiting staff were wearing masks, except the two visible staff in the kitchen (one who delivered our food). A little annoying and disrespectful when the vast majority of sydneysiders are doing the right thing and obeying the rules. I'm sure the owner will be on top of this as they will lose customers if this continues. Will update my score when I visit during the week if masks are back on again as they were for my first two visits as food and service is 5/5.
