Lucky Bowl

I ordered the Pho and got..... well I don’t know what I got?! but it wasn’t pho, please review your recipes because it doesn’t add up. won’t got in on the lucky bowl as I don’t live here and will never eat here again but it wasn’t the best. Hope they lift their game.

Local Chinese takeaway shop inside the food court. Sells a range of Chinese/Thai/Japanese food including sushi, stir fry noodles and rice, soups, etc. Service is friendly and the food comes out really quick. There are a few tables and chairs inside the shopping center for diners.

Look at the evaluation and think it would be great, but in fact it is not good, just cheap price and excellent service.

Wow this is so bad, I ordered the ‘Marinated BBQ chicken with rice. What I got was pan fried chicken that was so salty I couldn’t even eat it. There is MSG somewhere in there as I got a headache immediately. The pictures on the menu do not represent the food you get. The plain steamed rice was nice but how hard is it to get that right. $14 for absolute garbage. Sorry !

Ken, your new chef from my first meeting at Prospect last week, to the perfect meal I am eating as I write now I can't speak more highly of; perfect is the only word. Perfectly balanced Penang Curry melt in your mouth beef with crisp, flavoursome vegetables, and the Nasi Goreng as it should be and always keeps me coming back. And your delightful face of the business at the counter treated my mother with her freshly made smoked salmon sushi rolls (2nd time not so lucky with the fresh salmon rolls; Mum went and drowned them in a sinking boatful of soy/ginger sauce.. that's on her!). It's been a delight to be regular customer, thanks to all at the Lucky Bowl!

The first thing I notice as I pass this take away every day is that the staff always smile as you walk by, regardless of whether you are a customer. Service was swift and polite and my order was taken without issue. The Mongolian Beef was very enjoyable though there was a lot of fluid remaining in the dish once finished. The rice was fresh and also very nice. Price was quite reasonable and I'll certainly be returning to try other dishes in the future. Thank you.

Absolutely amazing service and great food. I have multiple allergies and cannot have all of their dishes other than one, which I wasn’t too keen on. The wonderful female cook, was happy to customise which ever dish I wanted to suit my allergens and the final product was sublime. Will be making this place my regular takeaway/dine out place.

ALLERGY ALERT: "VEG" FRIED RICE CONTAINS SEAFOOD!!! restaurant denied cross contamination and insisted veg only, still have the rice with seafood all through it & have just sent a close friend to the hospital with anaphylaxis. Buyers beware!!!

Food tasted old like it’d been sitting in a Bain marie for quite some time, noodles had no flavour, Dim sum was mushy and not very nice. Food overall was overcooked, cold and not much flavour
