Lovedale Cafe

Good fashioned old school service and good range of options. Had curried chicken pie and pancakes. Pie was good temp and good amount of syrup with fresh berries for the pancakes. Coffee milkshake was spot on, one of the better ones, as was the coffee. Sat in the sunshine behind the hedge and was quite peaceful. Parking was plentiful, public toilets nice and clean and the information centre right next door along with the airport 100m behind. Ladies did a fab job, cheerful and happy to make your visit as good as it can be.

Mum and I had breakfast here after a fantastic weekend in the Hunter Valley. The coffee ☕️ was lovely and hot and the bacon and egg rolls were delicious (lovely soft bread). The prices were so affordable compared to most expensive cafes in the area. The staff were also friendly and efficient 😊

This was my and my expecting wife's first place we ate after getting married the day before. While we were sitting at our table, we got a call from our Doctor with amazing news that and revealed to us our baby is going to be a little girl! We both immediately began crying tears of joy and when we told our server Bella what happened she was incredibly happy for us. A few minutes later, Bella and Maddie both came out with this lovely pastry dish for us! We were both blown away from how lovely they were to us. It just made our already special weekend all the more so. A thousand thank yous would not be enough for how kind both of these remarkable women were to us that day. Thank you so much Bella and Maddie! PS: The food was also sooo good! We will definitely be back whenever we are in the Hunter Valley again

We visited this nice café again today after an absence of a few months. Very good to know it is now open 7 days a week. We as a group of scooter riders used to visit it regularly, then Covid hit, and then it was not open on Wednesdays for a while all impacted on our visits, so very glad it is open again. Coffee was great as usual as was the good selection of cakes and goodies to go with it. One very minor grip we have, is the size of the mugs :( we love our coffee, as does most of our group and could we please have some bigger mugs? cheers Oigy from the Coffee Country Cruisers :) 7/12/22, Just want to add, my scooter group visited the Cafe again today and had great coffee and cakes, and I am HAPPY to report that now they have decent sized coffee cups, cheering, thanks guys, we will be back again soon :)

Lovely little cafe and the food portions were big and tasty. But the star was the staff! Shirley (I hope that was her name) was so so lovely and kind and couldn’t do enough to help everyone out. She really made our (and our toddlers) morning. We aren’t local but if we are in the area again we will definitely stop by.

OMG the Maple Bacon ricotta pancakes were deee-licious (thanks Nik!) the coffees and service were just as good, and the location (in front of the visitor information centre) couldn't be easier to get to, with lots of parking available.

Jade and Nicole provided excellent customer service. 5 star customer service, well priced food! Fresh juices are amazing and the bacon/egg roll was so fresh and delicious. Stop it! They also have local beers $6.50 each

Ordered 2 toasties and after waiting 30 minutes for these toasties they came out with unmelted cheese and still cold. We asked to have it redone only to wait 10 more minutes for the toasties to come out soggy from being put in the microwave. All other good that went past looked really good but we were very disappointed

Stopped in at the visitor information centre next door to use the toilets and found this little gem. Fresh salads and savouries. The coffee was good too. The kids enjoyed their toasted sandwiches while I had some fresh quiche lorraine and greek salad. Service was friendly too!

Been here twice. This place is a gem and the owner, Nicole cannot do enough My mate and I ordered the Big Breakfast each and neither of us have enjoyed better at other cafes, plus the coffee is excellent. We’ll be back.
