Lotus Thai Restaurant

It's nothing like original Thai Cuisine. Very Westernised. The Thai beef salad looked like chopped vegetables from subway with added Boiled-taste beef! Shocking! It did not look appealing nor it tasted like it should! My curry had CANNED mushrooms! Unbelievable. Pad Thai had a very strange sour taste to it. No wonder there was not a single Thai person having a meal. All Westerners. I have never had such a bad Thai. Extremely disappointing.

Tasty food, friendly staff, warmth environment

Lovely thai fried rice with great flavours and oils! Prices were quite good too and in a good location.

Beautiful friendly staff, the food was amazing. There where 20 of us and they split the table into A & B which was such a great idea. I also got a bottle of wine off the staff for my birthday. Thanks for a great night

Good food but we encountered a very nasty waitress. After she threw the menus in front of us without as much as a smile, we walked out. No greeting or anything. Melbourne food/ Perth service, you have been warned dear patrons. We had liked it on previous occasions with a friendly waitress but wont be returning in a hurry, if ever.

One of the BEST restaurants we've ever been too i can't believe it's taken me this long to review it. The food here is AMAZING so delicious and flavors on point. This became our regular place to eat, we told all our friends and family. It's great on our own, as a couple and as a family; we've had birthdays here and even farewells here. Moving to Brisbane so im sad to leave them behind hope i can find one just as good in Brisbane. The prices are great too really cheap and great value. The staff are fantastic especially Ruby and her brother, whatever we needed they were there to help from us complicating our meals to them refilling our water without asking i have to say Ruby especially made it a great experience. Thanks guys 😁

It’s taken me so long to leave a review - THIS PLACE IS AWESOME! Always friendly service and welcoming smiles. The food is authentic and so tasty - have recommended this to a few friends and family. Our to go Thai restaurant - it even beats Long Chim in my eyes. Thank you so much, we’ll be coming back for more!

It was our first time there and it was just wonderful. Food great and staff excellent. Will go there again. You just have to try the curry puffs. Never had so good puffs. And the main meal was good to.

From the moment you walk in you are greeted and made to feel welcome. Prepare to tantalize your tastebuds with an array of delicious meals. Very comfortable and relaxed setting to enjoy a memorable evening.

Best Pad Thai. Sadly, that's the only dish we liked. Please bare in mind that we've not order everything from the menu. We also ordered Tom khai, disappointing.. no khaffer lime leaf or lemongrass flavour. Thai drunken noodle - was ordinary. Just feels the dishes were very westernised. But.. if you after a good Pad Thai, this is the place to go.
