Awesome food happy with my first visit! But was abit thrown of when I was offered a seat at the table next to the door with my pregnant wife in a tight spot, for our anniversary date night was a little off especially given I had mentioned it at the time of booking but no note was made! They were happy to accommodate me at a better position once I spoke to the manager which was great so overall it was a 4/5 experience but I will definitely be back for more!

We dined at the Lobster Cave last weekend to celebrate our anniversary. The team at the Lobster Cave were friendly, knowledgeable and communicative. The menu provided had many options. We were delighted with the quality of the meals and the size of the servings. Thank you to everyone, we had a memorable visit and we will be back soon.

Well worth the 1 hour trip here. We had a lovely experience. The food and the service was of the best quality. Waiters were fantastic friendly and down to earth just how we like it. Highly recommend.

Our waiter Andrew was fantastic. Our last experience was terrible due to shocking service. Andrew has certainly made up for this. Pleased to see a better menu too. HOWEVER, the meals, for what you get are SO OVER PRICED. Please reintroduce the $79.90 menu. It really is highway robbery. Food is great, presentation great and thanks to Andrew, I am now happy with the service. But the prices..................insane.

We came to celebrate our 13 year Anniversary and were served by Eve, we had an absolutely amazing time. Not only was the food excellent and extremely delicious, Eve gave us spectacular customer service, simply can not wait to come here again. Can not highly recommend this place but also Eve enough. Thank you for making our 13 year Anniversary dinner very special especially during COVID-19. I can't tha K you enough.

We had an excellent experience dining inn on Friday the 18th of June. It was our first time and Melinda who attended to us made us feel welcome and made recommendations that was great. The Food was fresh and cooked to our liking. Its one of the best seafood place we have eaten in Melbourne. We would book again and will highly recommend the place to our friends and families.

First time at lobstercave! What a great experience food was amazing and didn't wait too long! The service by Rachael and the rest of the staff was magnificent efficient didn't come to the table too often overall would recommend bit pricey but it's called fine dining for a reason.

Great food, but with only 90 minute sittings and the main arrives 6 mins before departure time, a very rushed experience. We had to take away dessert. Such a shame as the food is exceptional and fabulous for a special occasion but it’s like Maccas - in and out in no time at all. Will go elsewhere next time for that romantic meal which isn’t hurried.
