Light Up Coffee

This is a beautiful little cafe. Great coffee in South Melbourne not charging ridiculous amounts. Staff are super friendly and bubbly and the chocolate raspberry soft cookie was magnificent. So glad this was recommended and will be back often!

Had a V60 pour over coffee. Was the first decent one I had in Australia in 3 years. Most of the the time coffeeshops refuse to make them as it is time-consuming, and when I could get them it was made by untrained baristas. Light Up staff was not reluctant at all even though it was busy time, and they mastered it very well. Flat white was equally well crafted. We left very impressed, the guy who served us was very knowledgeable.

This is such a sweet little spot. It's tucked away on a quiet, tree-lined street in South Melbourne. There are nice bike lanes running up to the front of the cafe. I came in the morning for some light brekkie and coffee. The sunlight streams in so nicely through the large corner store windows, and it's so pleasant to bask in it. The coffee was excellent, and the soy milk wasn't burnt-tasting like it can get sometimes at other places. I definitely want to check it out for lunch too. The menu was simple, but the items looked cosy. They have a soup of the day, if you're into that stuff (I am).

Great service, great coffee, great food! Tried their Southern Chicken Burger and Eggs Benny and both were very good. The hollandaise sauce in eggs benny was really good! It would be my go to cafe after solo rides now!

Good coffee at very reasonable prices ($3.50)! Food is good too with a couple of new promotions each time. Staff always greets us with big smiles!! And dog friendly~ Always a joy and truly “light up” the neighbourhood!

Amazing environment and food! Had one of the fluffiest french toast and wholesome soup. Coffee blend was suited to our taste.
