Best veg and vegan food.

I have been a customer for a good 5 mos now and I can honestly say that most of the employees working in james place and central are a bit rude and also the portion sizes are always small especially in the salads! Also I have been ordering here for a while now and they never introduced that I can get points or what not.. I had to point it myself if I can sign up. Disappointing and unwelcoming. Food is great tho Pricey for the amount of service we get.

Proudly calls them self a vegan deli but it’s not vegan !! Really angry as I ordered a cookie thinking it was safe to eat, the place proudly having a sign up saying vegan. Ate the cookie, thinking it tasted buttery (but thinking that was the desired effect). Only realized after it’s not vegan at all. When I asked the person working there she told me “I should have asked” (why would I if there is a sign up?). It’s not clear at all and needs to say that it’s a vegetarian café not vegan. Only after I was leaving did she say “no worries” (yes worries) and eventually I got a “sorry about that”. Not only should the signage be clearer but the person I asked was rude about it . VEGANS AVOID ! I’m so angry !

Yummy vegan / dairy-free food and drinks. It took a long time for our take away coffees to come but they were very busy. Food came straight away. Great to have lots of sweet and savoury options.

We got Let Them Eat to cater for a morning tea after a funeral, and it was great. They arrived on-time, and although it didn't look like much food when it was squished in the boxes, once the food was spread out onto plates, it was more than enough, with great variety. Would highly recommend.

Another heaven on earth! My egg and cheese cravings are met and taken to a whole new level. I tried their food at a recent convention stand and had to track the place down. Know it’s not technically in the ‘central markets’ but rather the mall beside the markets in a fixed shop close to the street. Didn’t try the sweet offerings, but honestly didn’t want to destroy the flavours I’d just consumed. Highly recommend trying, and it’s all vegetarian done beautifully and makes you want to convert (or maybe not), but if I was to convert, I’d hang out here to keep to it!

Love the food and some of the staff but unfortunately quite a few have been rude or left customers waiting for a long time only to be ignored and serve others first. When this is brought up, people just get told to wait and no apology or quicker service is offered. Has happened one too many times to be acceptable even by bare minimum hospitality standards.

I slipped in here before they were officially open so it was very quiet but the chilled tunes and the friendly service were on point. The small long black I ordered had a nice crema and was delicious. Thanks for the coffee.

Another fine coffee experience and they also have some terrific vegan foods. Staff are always very friendly. Perfect.
