Excellent coffee and hot chocolate. Short but considered food menu. Lovely quiet location just off Lonsdale St. Possibly the best (gourmet) bacon and egg rolls in Canberra.

broooo I can't believe this place is real. Not only do they serve good beverages and great dishes, but their service was incredibly polite and friendly. The place has such a quaint and cozy aesthetic that it makes such an incredible place to grab a coffee with a few of your friends or maybe grab a bite during your break. Decent view too! I reckon this is the coziest friendliest cafe on the corner of Lonsdale 💖

Food was presented beautifully, and the seating area is gorgeous. However, customer service was pretty poor. Waiters were a bit rude and it felt like I was intruding as other people have mentioned in reviews :( We were told that the food would take 30 mins, which we were fine with, but it ended up taking 1hr 20 to arrive. It was due to the small kitchen, but definitely wouldn’t have come knowing the actual wait time. Up to personal preference, but our fish had heaps of bones. Regretted not going elsewhere :/

Love the Matcha Latte, but waited too long for the Kimchi Toastie......

Everything was cooked in the spot, so amazing. If I could rate this more than 5 stars would do it, the food there is waaaay beyond what you would expect from any café.

Vibes for days n days. Tasty food and drinks. A great place to escape the CBD's hustle n bustle. Pleasing architecture to be surrounded by and lots of nice gift shops near by. Ftw🌟💯 I've been here many times and staff have always been friendly and helpful.

Kyō Coffee Project is a cool coffee spot tucked away on Lonsdale St that could probably use an extra staff member. Pros: + The coffee is exceptional and the food is nice. + Trendy atmosphere and vibe. Cons: - Waited just under an hour for lunch, which was frustrating. I wouldn't recommend going if you're in a rush or on a lunch break (I was late to a meeting). The cafe has a lot of potential, but I wouldn't go back until the service improves. More staffing would be helpful.

Coffee and food is good but both times I've been the food took over an hour come.

We are only giving this two stars because the quality of coffee was good. However the service was poor and the food was substandard. Firstly, we ordered the trout bento which was reasonably pricey at 20 dollars (and so expecting abit) however after paying we were informed that there was no trout. Helpfully, we thought, the cook on site said they would find a suitable replacement and get back to us. She never did. Instead we received our meal and asked the waiter where our trout replacement was. He never returned. We think the trout was replaced with a small serve of eggplant. Also the rice was smelly - did they wash it? Having no protein which we expected, we asked for some bacon. Whilst obliging, after over 15 minutes we could not wait any longer - we had to get to work. Very disappointing!
