There was lipstick stain on my cup. I took it down and they immediately apologized and remade it for me which was good but... I only knew that it wasn't properly washed due to the lipstick stain so it could mean there may be a lot more cups going around not washed properly with no visible mark on them to tell (for example if someone without lipstick drank it beforehand) Especially during these COVID times they should be more careful with hygiene.

Great place with great pastries and coffee. Wonderful place to sit back and relax from a long flight.

Staff are very friendly. I like the iced chocolate very much.

This place is special. The location is in the heart of the CBD, the corner of the Adelaide arcade. The decor, the atmosphere and the items are nicely crafted. Lovely coffees and of course, chocolates. The chocolates are divine and to die for. The price is higher than other places but it is worth it. If you love chocolate and coffee, here you go! Just a tiny point that they should take care of the chairs and single couches that look torn and dated.

Pricey but the best salted caramel iced latte I've ever had. Mum ordered Belgium hot choc + waffles and was also not disappointed. Perfect if you have a sweet tooth!

Very bad experience! I travelled 1 hour 30 minutes to be at Koko Black (Rundle Mall, Adelaide SA). I went there for getting mothers day present for my mom. Arrived at this store at 5.10 pm, and the staffs said they closed the store already. I asked them if it is alright to get 1 box only, they said no. Based on Koko black website and google, it says that they close at 5.30 pm. That was why I was willing to travel for 1 hour 30 minutes from my house to get there. What a waste of time. 3 hours wasted for nothing. Very disappointed. Not sure why they put 5.30 pm as their closing time in the official website or google. Misleading information :( I was a regular customer before, now I am very upset about that.

Up market chocolate, very nicely packaged. Like, 6 chocolates for $20. Good coffee if you just want to sit. I had an iced coffee, $9 but it was good, not huge, but great flavour. My wife had the Australian smoked coffee and it was amazing.

The second time dining here and both times were great experiences. On this particular occasion, the service was very friendly and there is nothing to fault with the drinks ordered. The only negative was my friend did not receive her cookie she ordered, but this was resolved easily. The store has a lot of space for dining indoors, outdoors and even lots of space upstairs which I prefer since it is a more relaxing setting. Even though chocolates and desserts are their specialty, I like how they have savory menu options too.
