42 Terralong St, Kiama
Great little cafe at the blow hole end of the main street in Kiama. Has a very cosy setting in store. The staff were friendly and efficient. We ordered a cappuccino and an espresso - both were very good, we will definitely stop by here again when we go through Kiama.
Lovely owners to deal very friendly and great location - a must place to try .
Fantastic friendly service, amazing menu, great African decor. Loved the South African vibe and watching the background video of African scenery. Highly recommend to everyone
First time having South African food and it was really good! This was a platter for 2 but 3 of us couldn't finish it. Iced coffees were spot on with real ice cream and they made it soy for me. The owners/workers (I'm assuming here) were super friendly. Vibe of the restaurant was also super nice. Would come back. The babootie was our tables favourite. Sweet and a bit different.
Greeted with a warm welcome, we stopped in to try something a little different in Kiama. The vibe was amazing with lovely decor, friendly staff and live music outside. We chose from the Sth African menu and it was brilliant - fresh and tasty (and put the Bitlong on the side to make mine vegetarian but for my fiance to eat instead). Both meals were yum. We saw other meals going out which all looked great too (and huge - you won't walk away hungry!). The iced coffee and mocha were also really tasty. Highly recommend this place for its chill vibe, beautiful food & lovely staff.
What a delightful find. The food was so tasty, coffee fabulous, great service, nice and cool atmosphere, inside away from the hustle and bustle, with relaxing music playing. Why go fish and chips, when you can try the South African dishes? Definitely recommend this. Yet everyone eating outside was enjoying the food going out. I will be back to try something different again next time and hopefully have room for a yummy dessert.
Stopped in for lunch and was surprised to find special menu offering south African food.We ordered the tasting plate for 1 and decided to share as we weren't that hungry. Luckily we did, as the serving was massive, if we ordered the tasting plate for 2 we never could have finished. Food was great, really tasty and fresh. Service was fast and staff were friendly and helpful, recommend giving it a try.
I haven't had South African food before so asked for a recommendation. I had the Cape Malay chicken bunny chow. It was nicely spiced and I had the mild version. I would like to try a spicier version another time. Good service and nice environment.
We visit this place few days after christmas, so the place was very busy. We love the service, the lady who served us was very nice. The food also very nice. Their South African Specials is recommended!
What a find! South African husband felt like he was at home. Everything we ordered was delicious - the share plate was so generous in size and flavours. Peppermint crisp cake was to die for! We can't wait to go back
