Lovely days drive to this lovely picturesque place. Great ambience, plenty of staff on board. Had a nice smashed avocado with poached eggs. Great presentation. Price is little over expectations otherwise happy. You need to try the cakes ... all of them.. very surprised with the taste, flavour and price. Well done to the owners and staff.

Delicious little bakery. Homemade sausage roll with relish, egg and bacon bun and cinnamon donut just to start off the day! Lovely venue and staff as well. Edit: wrote the review before we dug into the donut, it is worth visiting this gem of a place just for that alone. Layered yet fluffy donut with slight crusty outside and just the right amount of sweet. Yum.

First time visiting Johnny Ripe and I can say that I’m definitely satisfied overall. The prices weren’t too wild and the food was tasty and served in well sized portions. Well worth a stop in if you find yourself in the area for breakfast or brunch.

The first 2 times we have attended Johnny Ripe at the end of 2020 the customer service was excellent, they brought you cutlery to the table, glasses, water and cleaned the tables, this time we have arrived and been seated on a dirty table, which had taken 20 minutes to get cleaned, we have had to get up to get our own glasses cutlery and napkins we then had to ask for a jug of water, we have now sat at the table for 45 mins and our coffee has just arrived and still no food unfortunately i will never be coming again! we have watched all other tables get he exact same service which is very poor service as it is not busy at all!

Excellent pies. The cakes look delicious too. Warm and cosy on the cold day we visited.

Lovely little cafe with both indoor and outdoor seating. Deliciousz warming food, a great range of sweets and some giftware!

Amazing coffee but missed on the apple pie😟

My husband and I held our wedding reception in late April 2019 at Johnny Ripe (formerly Main Ridge Harvest) and it was the perfect regional venue. From our first communication with the Epicurean Group team, we were welcomed and given all the information we needed. They shared our vision for an intimate setting with great food and drink. Kate was particularly spectacular at organising our event and making sure everything happened as planned. The venue staff were so friendly and always made sure that we had everything we needed on the night. All of our guests commented on how lovely their service was during the wedding reception and they were blown away with how DELICIOUS the food was. It was presented beautifully too. There was so much food, we wished we could have eaten more on the night! We really appreciated that the venue staff packaged up our left-over desserts so we could enjoy them the following day with our friends and family. We would highly recommend Johnny Ripe and the Epicurean Group for your next big event. They are unique, friendly and excellent at what they do, and we can't thank them enough for making our day so special.
