Excellent ambience, top shelf service. Very nice food.
Best Indian food I've ever had! You pay for it but boy is the quality good
Absolutely delicious food and great service. Have not been there for years but had good memories of the iconic restaurant that were still true today.
Best Indian food ever. Each dish was a taste experience to be savoured. Had the banquet and it was truly amazing. I never post reviews on food but this is a rare exception. We eat Indian food regularly and this is notable. Six stars.
Great food and atmosphere. The Tindaloo is hot but delicious. It's a little bit dark inside but it's nice and the blue cheese naan is is quite a treat. I've eaten here many times and never had a bad meal. The service is excellent.
Excellent food and excellent customer service.
If not the best Indian restaurant in Adelaide, it is definitely one of the bests. The decor is classic and old and the staff were very professional and friendly. We ordered two appetisers and four main dishes with a bottle of wine. Two lamb dishes, one beef and one chicken. Rice and naan bread as sides. The wine was suggested by the waiter and it was just the spot on. Panjabi lamb chops cooked in tandoor was the best dish by far. Butter chicken was the best i have tried so far. The beef in the vindaloo could have been cooked a bit more. The naan bread was a bit too doughy and under cooked on top and almost burnt down the bottom and a bit too thick. The presentation can be easily improved. But all and all, well done to the team and for sure i will visit this restaurant soon.
We booked this restaurant looking for a loverly Indian food night on our Adelaide night stopover. The food amazing ππ if you love a good Indian nosh up!! This is the place well done Singh family & staff.
Service was absolutely fantastic !!! But the food is just ok. I was a bit disappointed as I was expecting a lot from this institution. Overall itβs a great place with a fabulous host Would recommend for an introduction with Indian cuisine !
If you're looking for a fine dining restaurant craving Indian cuisine then look no further. Enjoyed every minute I spent and every dish I ate. Chicken liver is my personal favourite here. It's on the expensive side but worth every penny for a special occasion.
