Delicious fresh fish with not only chips, but also salad. Both chips and salad were 1/2 serves which was more than enough. As we are not regular fish eaters, the staff were able to describe the flavors and textures quite well. There weren't many others there as it was around 5:20pm on a Monday afternoon/evening which may have allowed them the extra time we needed. Highly recommend this establishment.

I'm a quality over quantity kind-of-guy and enjoyed my lunch here. Perfectly cooked fish and chips and tasty salad. Free tea and coffee for those hot drink lovers. Limited seating but decent views of the Clyde.

Best fish and chips I've ever had and very decent price!!! The seafood tastes fresh and the batter is so light and crunchy. The Boatshed has ruined other fish and chips places for me! Highly highly recommend!!!!!! Its super busy and popular so I recommend you go outside of 12 to 1ish. Though that being said their service is pretty fast and there is plenty of grass areas overlooking the ocean if you don't mind sitting on the ground.

We had a couple of great meals at The Boatshed on a recent holiday. The fish and chips special meal with blue grenadier fish was perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. The chips were crisp and also perfectly cooked and the little side salad was fresh too. We sat outside on pretty basic seating (I do miss backs on chairs and benches). The view of the bay just set off the whole experience as do the pelicans who were preening on the little wharf. We will definitely make return visits when next in the area. I loved the murals on the building too.

Very busy but quick. Special was great and reasonable pricing considering what was around. Not a fan of the fish of the day though - Albacore, very meaty. Would probably try a different fish next time.

Traditional style fish and chips served with fresh produce. The very limited seating was great and provided nice views. Don’t go during peak times as it is not designed for crowded times. There is a park nearby to accomodate take away. The water heater serving those who ordered tea was only luke warm. Go for the cold drinks here instead.

Amazing fish & chips! Good portion sizes instead of relying on the classic fish & chip shop sizes which can be overly large and lead to food waste. Would love to see some Biopak or other sustainable cutlery options. We found a great spot by the water in one of the covered benches to enjoy our lunch.

You MUST go here and try the most fresh fish and chips that I have ever tasted in my entire life!!! You deserve 5 star
